Yep, that deer was shot within wandering range of my stand! 1 mile or so. Congrats as that is a really neat looking deer.

There was little write up on this buck in a local newspaper, said it grossed 238. Was also shot only 2 miles from my house.

I love that rack! What an absolute GIANT! Its like the tines have double-edges on them with stickers coming out both ways. I bet he did some damage.

Just the head eyeguy ? 150 lol. Here's another Todd County, on my way to my favorite lake off and on all summer I've been hoping somebody got him but we saw many times at close range the largest 12 point buck I've ever seen so my guess once the velvet came off was 170" to 185" boone and crockett class buck without a doubt. The last buck close to his caliber I saw in velvet became a 180+ inch typical and this one was close, not quite but right there and I was hoping to hear or see if he went down, I may even pull into the farm where he was and just kinda politely ask if they got that guy as I'd assume they t-cammed him or saw him often.

Todd county has that non-typical gene like Morrison county correct ? Just seems those 2 counties kick out some nice non-typicals and generally when there is one there's a lot of horn to measure, nice buck and boy if I had a crystal ball and could see what his rack looked like last year, was there any injury to him or anything like that ?

Yeah, Morrison and Todd counties are in my opinion, some of the best hunting in the state! I don't know why, but they always have nice deer. Especially because we have Camp Ripley!
