2012 MN Bull Elk

Hi guys...

A guy in my deer hunting group got an 8 x 8 in the Kittson County area. As soon as I get the okay from him, i'll post some pictures up.

I thought I read they were tryin to decrease the elk pop because they were causing to much crop damage up there?

NICE Bull! I'm green with envy...... I drew a Cow tag, looking forward to an Elk hunt in Minnesota.

Landowners generally get preference on the Bulls, chances are pretty slim for anyone outside the area to get a bull tag.

landowners don't get preference on bull tags, only on overall tags, 10% of the tags are set to go to the landowners. the landowners apply in the special drawning and those that don't get drawn then go into the general draw, then all tags are put into the draw for the any sex tags, then all tags are put into the draw for the different seasons. over the years in kittson and roseau the any sex tags have been about even on landowner and non landowner.
