actually I like shrimp too..but it don't like me. my throat feels like it is going to swell up when I eat it. and shrimp is about the only non Minnesota fish or seafood i'd eat!

Aldi...I tried to embrace it.  

1.  their meat is pretty bad, try the blood soaked pork chops, two regular chops on top of package and 4 "clods" of pork below.

2. stock?  Finding their really good deals is akin to deer hunting the third season in zone 3 when deer populations are low.  You may go but your expectations are low.

3.  Jackpot- Ice cream for malts, $2.49 a half gallon.  

Aldi- "Go for the Meat, take home some ice cream"  It's their new motto.

4 pounds coffee and 2 32 ounce creamers. 17 bucks. aldis has good deals but I havnt looked at meat there. probably wont. good produce and fruit.

sure wish we had some of these stores nearby. closest is an Aldi's in st cloud 16 miles away. otherwise its the local super value, st cloud has cashwise and coborns. closest cub is 40 miles.

and I absolutely refuse to allow my wife to go to Walmart.

Look for a very hot price on T-bones in Cub's ad this Sunday.  $4.99 lb. for T-bones.  Haven't seen this price for years on CHOICE T-bones.  Salmon will also be 4.99 lb.  I'll post the other prices when the ad comes out tomorrow.  good luck.

Went to Cub in Brooklyn Park, off of West Broadway & Brooklyn Blvd, to get stuff for tacos and saw Choice Chuck Roasts for $2.99 Lb.  Reg $5.99 and they had a lot.  3lb average.  Didn't see that in the ad.   I picked up 2 of them.  Got home and thought "What am I doing?"  Going to go back and pick up a bunch more tomorrow.

one thumb down on the Cub T bones.  Picked up two seperate packs with healthy loin portions.  Two work for our family, girls get the loin boys take the strip and bone.  The strip parts of the three I had were tough and sinewy.  Girls liked the loin part.
