Waldo, nice dekes! Whatcha have to give for them plus shipping? Do you know where the cheapest places to get them are? I've been looking for some D. Smith decoys for some time now. Wonder how long the paint scheme will last on them? Let me know whatcha think... thanks (57 )

I don't turkey hunt but knowing Dave Smith makes quality decoys and paint is durable. I hunt over a few of his goose decoys and they have held up pretty well with little scuffs that you see up close. I think you can only buy his decoys directly from him/company...goose decoys that is.

Ok back to toic fellas

Do they break down very easy? They look like they might not be all that portable. They look awesome and I am looking for dekes that I would use on the farm where I don't travel great distances. The farm is not all that big but has some good strutting areas and pinches that you have confidence sitting in all day. Something like these would be ideal for that application.

I believe the "C" store has them now. Not sure about in the store but they were in the latest Turkey catalog. I know a buddy that hunted with the same set up (one hen and one jake) last year in WI. and between him and the other relatives that he took out, his jake decoy almost had his head ripped off by the end of the season with all the Tom's beating up on it. $160 or so for the jake is tough for me but I'll probably have one. I have a Zink's Avian X hen and that is VERY nice as well in my opinion. They make a jake as well.

I got mine!!! I bought a jake, upright and feeding hen and OMG they are so real looking. The staking system is incredible to say they least! I recomend it to anyone having doubt's. Absolutly worth the money and they are a real tuff design. I think that if a person would take decent care of them that they should last a LONG time!! Nice product Dave!!
