The picture was taken in mid December in the Waterville, Elysian, Morristown area. I haven't seen reflections in the camera before. Is this a common thing to happen in trail cameras? I don't think it was an owl as the width is too wide! Thanks for all the replies. I am still trying to figure this one out!

Yes its pretty common with cameras that use a regular flash instead if infrared.

Oh Yeah, sorry I forgot that I put tacks on a tree 18 feet up in the air... whistlewink . Just kidding.

No I do not recall any metal or tacks or anything in the tree. I also have other pictures taken and NONE of them show these mystery eyes. Maybe I should submit the pic to the makers of that finding bigfoot show...

Do you have any pictures during the day from the camera in that position? To get an idea of the lay of the land.

All of my pictures in the daylight that I have are of me looking at the camera and it is impossible to see behind me. I will have to take a picture the next time out there.

I just think this photo is so cool, and had to share it with everyone. Thanks again for all the creative replies.

Lots of theories, but no clear answers... tough to tell!

Just curious- when and where did you get the pic?

I think I know where you're going with this. I think I saw this picture on another hunting site at one point?

Nice guess. Speculate all you want. I promise you will not find this photo on any other HSOforum or forum. Thanks for your concern.

I haven't seen much for tracks, but I haven't been out in the woods much either. Bring that coon hound over anytime. I wonder when the best time would be? Maybe we should go after him after fishing season is over...
