Just wanted to get everyone's take on this...or to see if anyone knows more about it.

MEDICINE HAT, Alberta (AP) — Ultimate fighting champion and Minnesota native Champion Brock Lesnar has been charged in Canada with three deer-hunting violations.

Fish and Wildlife officers say Lesnar was charged Thursday with three counts of violating the Alberta Fish and Wildlife Act.

The Alexandria, Minn., native is accused of shooting a mule deer buck in southern Alberta last year but packing only the trophy head. The charges relate to leaving meat to rot, improper tagging and illegal possession of wildlife.

The 34-year-old and his guide were to appear in court in Alberta on Thursday, but the case was adjourned until Jan. 19.

A message left with Lesnar’s agent Friday was not immediately returned.

Jeeze. He should be able to pick up that deer and put it on his shoulders!

Thats funny because I was just watching a hunting show this fall that had him hunting with a guide, not sure where though. He shot a mule deer (if I remember correctly) down in a valley and did actually quarter it all and strap everything to his back and proceeded to hike up the steep hill.

I have personally talked to him at a buddies wedding years back. His girlfriend at the time was in it. All I can say is he's not the brightest bulb in the world....

Wouldn't really call him an Alexandria Native, resides there, but believe South Dakota was his original homestead, anyway, I saw him logging that mulie also, had more than the head on board I believe, he dusted a huge whitetail, then back for that muley in the snow. I hope untrue, the duck hunter clown, the Wisc. bear country music Gentry guy, the 8pt trophy clown from last year, the fenced deer non-typ this year, I'm tiring of hearing these stories whether sorta famous folk or not, how can anyone wanton waste anything in our economy, then again I want to hear Brock's side of the story.

Thats when its only about one thing and its not hunting anymore. I will also not pass any type of judgement and I hope its not true

Poor analogy....

When I pay for a contractor to do the work, he does the work. He isnt guiding me to do the work.

Lesnar is the trigger puller. If he doesnt have a license, he isnt smart enough to figure that out on his own??

I watched the spear kills that Jared Allen participated in in Illinois. Canned hunts just don't do it for me.

Hope Lesnar did the right thing. From what I read, the charge was that he left some, not all, but some meat behind.

He comes/came to Manitoba to his BIL's place to "hunt" eek every fall until our "third world health care system almost killed him". "Thank God his wife was there to save his life by running him back South of the border to save his life from the sudden onset of diverticulitis/steroid abuse that almost took him from us, far too early" sick .

Brawwwwwk, huntin'... not poachin' at all whistle...

Hopefully he gets stomped into 'roid-flavored jelly by Alistair Overeem on Dec. 30th grin ... or at the very least gets to share a cell with Jeff Foiles for a couple of years... hopefully both 2c.

Remember a while back when Brock got real sick with diverticulits. Well, he was in canada and the socialized med. in canada wasn't to great for him. Brock being Brock, He bashed canada and called them a third world country. Him being pinched is all payback.

I herd the only way u can hunt up there is if u used a guid and then the guied gets the tags and I don't no about u guys but if I pay a guied thousands of dollars I would not be packing out my own deer and takeing care of all my meat my self this isent all his fault, the guide should be takeing most the blame he knows the rules,
