CJH
Both D's looked very sluggish to me, but of course both of those offenses will do that to them. Good win, and they very well could meet in the playoffs. Fun game to watch!!How about Cobb's 100+ TD return!!!!! All the receivers looked good, except we didn't see much from James Jones. Grant looked pretty average, Starks definitely looked like the better back. Not sure why they aren't letting Alex Green be the 3rd down back, must not have the blitz pickup down yet.A little concerned about the pass rush, just didn't seem to put a lot of pressure on Brees unless they blitzed. Did Mike Neal play? He's suppose to be the pass rush DE replacement for Jenkins.
Nick Kuhn
I knew the defense would be pretty poor in this game for both teams, I just didn't think it would be THAT bad (I had the Pack winning 31-24 on the board at work). I was a little surprised by the last play by the Saints. As bad as they made the Packers look on the previous touchdown, I thought for sure they would have had another misdirection play called up for that situation. mrklean
its a W and im happy with that, there 2 min defense was horrible and i thought that call on Hawk was a close one contact yes, but he pretty much jumped over him. Dom will get them dialed in just a warm up game.

Antero
Luck is good......after losing some real close games last year where luck was not on their side...I'll take it.

snoozebutton
Thanks LMITOUT. And in case you haven't realized this, the Packers currently have the best record in the NFL. Home field advantage baby!!!
CJH
FYI ~ Tramon Williams has bruised shoulder3:14 PM, Sep. 09, 2011Written byMike Vandermause Packers coach Mike McCarthy said cornerback Tramon Williams has a shoulder bruise, which he termed a positive medical development. Williams injured his shoulder after colliding with teammate Nick Collins during Thursday night’s game against New Orleans. McCarthy wouldn’t say for sure, but seemed to indicate that Williams’ injury won’t keep him out for an extended period of time.
PurpleFloyd
They looked pretty potent on offense. I wouldn't be surprised to see them go undefeated and set both the single season points total and the single season passing yards/TD's records this year. Dark Cloud
I know it is real easy to be an Armchair coach/qb... but... I was on the couch with a bowl of cereal for the last play and nearly choked before they snapped the ball - I thought to myself, they are going to run and the Pack, er um... the whole free world knows it... snoozebutton
That's what I was thinking too Dark Cloud. I really expected some kind of misdirected play, maybe some to the outside but I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome.
SkunkedAgain
So did anyone agree that Hawk interfered with the receiver in the endzone. I heard Steve Mariucci say it was the right call, but I didn't see contact and Hawk was playing the ball.
LMITOUT
I thought he was all over the receiver's back.
Steve Foss
Upon replay, it looked like contact to me. Also acting on the receiver's part, but contact for sure.
snoozebutton
I didn't think he made contact until after he batted the ball away which is not pass interference but at least it didn't change the outcome.BTW, Cam Newton looked pretty good yesterday but he wasn't facing a secondary like he will next week. Even if Tramon can't go (and I haven't heard much about him, McCarthy isn't saying anything) we have solid backups to keep him and Steve Smith in check. JosMN
I wanna see Dom blitz the [PoorWordUsage] out of Cam and see how he does with that They will, and I think he is going to get rattled pretty dang quick. With how the packers fly to the ball, I dont see him doing well at all. He definately isn't going to throw for near 400. I'm gonna say 160 at most and 2 or 3 picks trying to force it to Steve Smith. Smith gets frusterated easily. Get woodson or Williams on him playing a lot of aggressive bump coverage and he will be a non-factor.

Whatever, you are going to have some close calls go your way and some that don't. I guess having the call go against them and the goal line stand was another example of "Luck". SkunkedAgain
So I'll start talking smack about the Panthers. How many points do you think that we'll beat them by? Sure Cam threw for over 400 yards but it was against the Cardinals, a team not necessarily a defensive stalwart. They also lost Jon Beason for the season. I'll say a 17 point margin of victory. JosMN
41-14....with them getting a couple garbage TD's. Newton wont pass over 150...3 picks, one to the house by Woodson.

paceman
I think the pack will take it easy on the panthers and win 38-10... I hope so. I don't like newton.
snoozebutton
The games I'd like to see today are Green Bay at Carlina, Bears at New Orleans, and Tampa at Minnesota. Unfortunately they're all on at the same time and since the only game I get is the Minnesota game (too cheap to get the Sunday ticket) I'm headed over to my daughter's house to watch the Pack. They're new Direct TV subscribers and get the Sunday Ticket free this year.Go Pack!!!

My 3 year old isn't going to make it through the entire game at a sportsbar, so I am just going to put it on NFL Redzone and hopefully catch the scoring plays. Can't wait until you can stream ANY game to your computer/TV. Its only a matter of time.I think the Pack D will be a challenge for Newton, but freaky athletes can do some amazing stuff. I still think the Pack win, but it will be closer than most people think.
goblueM
i think you mean "legally stream", because you can already get pirated feeds of any game on the internet
