flipper
I have read a few media reports to that effect. First he would have to find a team that wants him though.
RiverFish
I don't think he will play again. Look at his last year in MN, he was not productive. You have to remember he has the all-time interception record
brrrr
He should come back, He still owes the viking half a season.
mrklean
no way anyone would want him at this point
student
More like the media has nothing better to talk about so they are hypothesizing Favre's return.
flipper
Or more like Favre can't stand lack of media attention so he is indirectly feeding this carp to them to get his name out there.
mrklean
what ever happened with him and his wife?
RiverFish
Or more like Favre can't stand lack of media attention so he is indirectly feeding this carp to them to get his name out there. Every year he's talked about it he has come back... But at this point I think teams have realized that he is just to old, I think 4ever has come to an end.Brent who?Go Pack!! hunter76
If we would have had an offensive line last year Favre would have had a great year. The guy can still play.
Steve Foss
More like the media has nothing better to talk about so they are hypothesizing Favre's return. Correct. Not to say it won't happen, but it's still just media speculation right now.
PierBridge
Yeah he's washed up....oh wait he had his best year ever less then 20 months ago. It all boils down to what-ever he wants to do because there is a market for him contrary to popular belief.

There may be a market for him, but it was made clear, it wont be here

greebs
He is done. let's hope so. last season already did enough damage to his reputation. no reason to damage it further.
zamboni
He would be better suited as a QB coach somewhere. If he is going to miss the game that much as a coach he'd still be involved, just behind the scenes. He would have a perfect scenario here to be a great tutor with the youth we have as QBs. Coordinator maybe down the road as well. His drawl might keep him out of the booth
ted4887
His drawl might keep him out of the booth I'd rather listen to Farve's drawl than Barkley's... turrable.
Steve Foss
Dandy Don Meredith had that Texas drawl going on, but of course that was a long time ago. TV has changed a lot in the last thirtysomething years.
Scott K
We could have a Madden-Favre tandem announcing the games. But I think all we would here is a bunch of smoochin
zamboni
I had a party the day Madden announced his retirement. I don't care if he is from Minnesota, he was horrible. Rather listen to Caliendo in the booth impersonate him and how dumb he is.
PierBridge
A market for him? I don't think so....... Told ya...I see the Eagles have some interest or at least thats what Vick is hoping for. Not sure if you guys actually follow football or not but the Quarterback position is pretty important and hard to come by and it's not dictated by disgruntled fans emotional feelings being hurt.. Favre is still better than half of the starters in the league and would be an invaluable asset to have as a back-up on EVERY single NFL team. Do I expect him back?, probably not but make no mistake he can still play and if his ego wasn't so inflated and he agreed to be a back-up and show up on time he would have 20 teams lining up to sign him. Boar
Had heard Webb was at farves ranch, an farves ws coaching him. i could see that happining.
james_walleye
Ya my bad, I didn't take into account that teams might want him as a backup lol. Mainly because there is zero chance he would take that role. Of course teams would sign him as a backup. You have anymore great football knowledge for us guru? How bout you tell us about how good tjunk is. You've always been a junkson fan. You are one of 3 football fans who were on his bandwagon. Tell all of us who don't watch enough football what we are missing.
