No such thing as an unkillable buck

I have to agree with this. I think all bucks getup and move before dark, however most of them don't move very far from their beds so that makes them very difficult to kill. The higher the pressure the less the move.

Looks to be a pretty big deer to me. As far as I can tell I think he's a 9 pointer. What do think he scores? 110-115 only?

Id say the 110 to 115 is pretty close. I like his dark antlers and it looks like he has a lot of character unless im seeing brush behind him. His mass looks pretty good too. Im not sure the caliber of deer in the area but he looks like he might be a little older he has a big body

Lot of junky little racks in that area. We see decent ones, like this I'm saying, VERY occasionally there. I think something's missing in the soil around there, not sure what. Bucks not very far away seem to grow better racks.

Palmy was taken on the evening of the MN bow opener by my neighbor. This deer has a long well known history. This is the deer from my early August trail cam pic. I'll be checking the cam for more recent pictures, but will never get another pic or shot at Palmy. Had him broadside at 40 yards with a semi-auto 30-06 on his ear last year on the rifle opener but didn't get a shot.
