Well, I was heading to Babbitt today over the noon hour. High sun, but luckily the light was somewhat filtered. And there on the seat beside me was the trusty camera. Cause you NEVER know when something photographic is going to happen right in front of you.

Thanks guys. Ken, you stopped about 3-4 miles short of this little gal. Right near the side of the road (with Mamma) where the earthworks/pond is a few miles south of Ely. My camera says it was 12:02 p.m.

I had three cars on my butt when I saw this, and man did they skid and scatter like automotive confetti when I locked up the brakes and swerved into the ditch.

I think it's time for a new bumper sticker. How about . . . WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHER ON BOARD: DO NOT TAILGATE!

Cool pictures but slammin the binders on probably wasn't safe for the others at all. I sure some were more than upset with that move.

The fawns have been really dropping lately. They sure are tiny when they are newborns. Cool pics.
