Could be a sad day for NASCAR

Recommended Posts

Well, tomorrow NASCAR may hand out a fine or suspension to Richard Childress.

I would hope NASCAR would look at the cars Kyle has wrecked of team Childress and Kyle even hitting a car after the race. No call for that at all. I guess kyle will have to badly injure or kill another before Mr Helton wioll wake up.

Seems little Kyle boy can throw his little hissy fits even when on double probation and if one acts on the garbage Kyle throws out, then you get fined.

If Kyle was a bit younger, Richard could have taken Kyle over his knees and gave him a good spanking to straighten out the little snot. In the gold old days, men were men and they settled these issues on thier own. Today, NASCAR lets this snotty nosed kid do as he pleases as thier ratings are down so they hope the little snot and his controversies will bring some back.

I have to wonder why Joe Gibbs racing even puts up with Kyle's childish antics and why Joe does not have a talk with Kyle. Mr Gibbs has told Kyle he cannot fight due to his religion but it ust be ok to go out and hit everything on the track.

I might suggest all teams go after the Gibbs cars and wreck them every week until those crashes equal what Kyle has done to others. It's one thing to have a issue on the track once or twice a season but Kyle seems to have them numerous times a month. Talking to Kyle does not help as Richard has already tried that.

Where is Joe Gibbs on all of this?????

My guess is NASCAR will lose more if they decide to p-enalize Mr Childress.

If Mr Helton slams Richard and does nothing to Kyle, them maybe NASCAR is the real issue as NASCAR could stop all this with heavier fines and driver suspensions to those who chose to always run others over.

This sure seems to go against all you have had to say about people who watch NASCAR for the wrecks. Now you are condoning intentionally wrecking cars from a certain team?

I agree that I do not condone it or care for it. I do not like people crashing out others but if NASACAR cannot seem to deal with Kyle, then the other teams will need to.

It may be the only solution to stopping Kyle from wrecking others if he gets wrecked and has a DNF.

Since Joe Gibbs does not stop it and Kyle seems to believe its the way to race, then others should race Kyle the same, thats all I am saying.

I also realize that this is a slippery slope but it may be the only way. I see no others.

Looks like a $150,000 fine and probation...

"UPDATE 4: NASCAR has fined owner Richard Childress $150,000 and placed him on NASCAR probation until Dec. 31 for violating Section 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing involved in an altercation in the garage area) of the 2011 NASCAR rule book. The violation occurred following the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race June 4 at Kansas Speedway. The probation includes all NASCAR-sanctioned events."

I wonder if Richard remembers how many cars that the black #3 used to move out of the way?? I guess it was ok for his cars to do it but nobody can do it to him.

I don't disagree that this is the way that it will probably be dealt with, but I just thought it was strange coming from you.

Sometimes one has to send a message to another driver that they cannot do that and it will not be allowed. If there was another way to take care of this fine, do it but even NASCAR looks the other way. Trouble with hitting someone is they also could get hurt.

I understand racing is racing but these cars are very spendy and one cannot go out and wreck another's every week and then even do it after the race.

This thread title should read Drama and Hypocrisy

Sheeesh!

Lucky this act without thinking fool (RC) is not charged with assault.

Put your hands on another with the intent to cause physical injury has it's consequences.

(criminally and civilly)

In this case KB showed maturity and restraint.

RC is lucky he is not looking for a bail bondsman.

His foolish actions leave him sitting at the mercy of the very person he despises.

Live and learn. wink

As much as I dislike Kyle and his attitude I must agree with with Uncle Bill on this. Childress could be and possibly should be charge with assault. Although I doubt we have been told the full story or Kyle would probable already filed a charge. If Kyle would of done this to someone every one here would be crying to put him in jail. We cant have it both ways.

I doubt that Gibbs would allow Kyle to files assault charges againt RC.

As stated above, we only know maybe part of the story.

I doubt that the $150,000 will have RC eating hot dogs.

This type deal was how they solved the issues years ago. Now all the whimps start trouble and then want to run and hide.

I would guess that the majority of the racing world loved what RC did to the chimp.

I wonder what those think that believe Kyle was innocent thought RC should have done.

He had talked with Kyle and that did not work.

NASACAR will do nothing so one has to take action or nothing will happen at all.

What should RC have done or how would he have gotten anyones attention??????

Childress is probably lucky Kyle didn't fight back, as this could have been a nascar version of baseballs Pedro / Zimmerman tussel a few years ago. I will be shocked though if Kevin Harvick doesn't put the smack down on Kyle on the track then off if need be. Probation or not, Kevin is too old school not to get a little pay back.

My take is that its pretty cowardly to go after someone who you know is on probation and it likley not gonna hit back. KB played it well.

Seems Kyle does wreck more than any other driver out there. Just look up the last month.

Not my figures.

Yes, I would put a bounty on him.

Sled, Kyle has been asking for it on the track and he got what he had coming to him.

Maybe Kyle could have swung back if he drove without hitting people all the time and then he would not have been on double probation.

RC would have cleaned his clock even if he did ttry to swing. best he just took it.

Gregg, whether they beat Kyle or not has nothing to do with his hack driving.

Are you trying to say that they hate the fact that Kyle is beating him and thats why Kyle runs into everyone? If so, boy that is a stretch.

Can noone agree that he is a hot head and cannot control his temper????? I have been on quite a few racibng websites today and the general concenses is the majority were happy RC took him down a notch.

Like I said, the fine is nothing to RC and since Gibbs cannot control the hothead nor NASCAR, have at it.

I have always said the kid has talent but he lacks brains. Seems another Busch had some of those same issues until another addressed them.

I have asked this in one of my other posts and noone seems to have a suggestion to cure this issue.

How does one stop Kyle from wrecking others cars???

Yes there are others who also do that but not at the rate Kyle does.

NASCAR will not do a thing nor Gibbs.

How does one stop this??

You have a problem with your neighbor, and can't get satisfaction talking to him, jump the fence and beat him to the ground.

Real smart. crazy

Why should Gibbs have to do anything ?

Gibbs would probably suggest RC seek help for anger management before he ends up losing his millions to the likes of KB.

Uncle Bill, If my neighbor kept damaging my car and the authorites wouldn't do anything. You had better bet an a** kicking was a coming!! Just like RC I would take my punishment in stride and most likely my car would not be damaged anymore. Does that make any sense...?

Gibbs he had better reign in his Golden Boy and his antics! Otherwise, it will start to cost him money (wrecked cars) and a possible run at a Championship. I understand Shurbs talent but, just not seeing how in the heck JGR wanted his attitude and poor personality in their camp. Being a man of faith this little busch must be driving him nuts wink

I don't think $150K will put Childress in the poorhouse.

All he would have to do is have a donation bucket in the garage next weekend, he would probably have a fair amount of donors.

All I'll say is I can't believe its taken this long for that obnoxious little snot nosed punk to get punched in the face! His brother needed and got it from Spencer, now RC has to put this d-bag in his place!
