I'm in! This will be my second year bear hunting. I worked my rear end off 2 yrs ago for no bears seen. I have learned alot from this site and my experience 2 yrs ago. maybe I'll get one this year in area 51. If anyone really WANTS to bait near Kettle River they can help me!!!! I need all the help I can get.

My grandson applied for the second year this year in 26 and didnt get drawn. He was really getting pumped up. He was hurt in an auto accident with his mom and brother 6 years ago in which his mother passed away and they gave him a 1 percent chance to make it. There is a higher power above us because he beat the odds. He is 11 years old and LOVES to hunt and fish. He was really excited to. Alot let down when he found out that he didnt get drawn. Maybe next year though he said. It sucks to see his face go from a smile to a frown but like he said, maybe next year!!

No, go for us in 12 this year....Guess I'll be hunting no-quota this fall if I decide to hunt...Already have had a bear ripping up behives about 200 yards from one of our hunting camps in no-quota!! So, hopefully the berries are plentiful to keep some bears around for fall!

Thought about doing the same. Our deer hunting camp is in the no quota area, Undecided. Good luck to all that were drawn.
