We'll see what Harvick's boss wants done next race.

Delana will have him take Pyle out. grin

Really though, what the heck was that all about? Kevin wasn't responsible for running into Pyle and the manchild runs Kevin darn near to the infield to turn him in front of the field? C'mon...

So lame. I wonder if NASCAR will fine Harvick for NOT socking him in the mush. smirk

Next time Harvick will remember when he shuts the car off on pit road to leave it in first instead of neutral. He could have gotten one in on him then.

Quick thinking on the 18, little bump, 33 wrecks, slam the 29 at the same time as the yellow comes out.

No kidding.

I was really hoping that when Busch opened the door to the NASCAR hauler a fist would have been coming out to greet him. End of story.

It worked for the older Busch. Maybe some dental work is just what the puke needs. anitoof.gif

In the aftermath of Regan Smith's stunning victory at Darlington Raceway, it was Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch who attracted the immediate attention from the NASCAR media.

Harvick, upset at Busch for what he deemed was an intentional wreck late in the race, tried to attack Busch on pit road following the race.

But as Harvick leaned in to punch Busch, the Joe Gibbs Racing driver hit the gas and shoved Harvick's unmanned car out of the way, sending it crashing head-first into the pit road wall.

Busch then roared into the garage and climbed from his car as angry No. 29 team members tried to get at him. The RCR crewmen pointed fingers and screamed at Busch as he ducked into the No. 18 hauler.

"There's people <expletive> walkin' down pit road, and he <expletive> run a car into the wall!" one livid Richard Childress Racing crewman yelled at the Joe Gibbs Racing crewmen who were guarding the path to the hauler.

"Everything's good! We're all friends here, OK?" a Joe Gibbs Racing crew member yelled back. "It's not our fight! It's not our fight! It's between them!"

Suddenly, Harvick showed up.

Without saying a word or changing his facial expression, Harvick brushed off the pleas from those in his inner circle to let it go and calm down, and walked with purpose toward Busch's hauler.

Harvick seemed intent on going into the No. 18 hauler, but two NASCAR officials blocked the entrance. Inside, JGR personnel scrambled in case of an invasion.

The RCR driver eventually realized he wasn't going to make it inside, and he turned and walked toward the NASCAR hauler on the other side of the garage – summoned by officials, as was Busch.

***************************************************************

Busch says he lost reverse gear and went forward to avoid what "wasn't going to be a good situation."

"My choices were limited," he said. "I was either going to get punched in the face and then wait for Harvick to get back in his car for me to go or just drive through his car and push it out of the way so I could get out of there and not try to get hit.

Guess you have to resort to violence if you can't beat someone on the track. It's gotta be hard on a guy to have a woman run his life. I understand Harvicks built up frustration running over.

I don't know, if someone is intentionally wrecking my car that costs a mere 250 grand, i wouldn't just walk away calm and collective. These guys are no different than any other redneck racing on dirt tracks, there just really freakin good, ya pull some [PoorWordUsage] either you take matters in your own hands or let karma works it's magic. Most all have attitudes when people startin screwing around like that, and Pyle has made his bed on being an arrogant little momma's boy since he began racing.

Only a matter of time before Pyle gets laided out flat.

It took that with his brother and it will happen to Pyle.

The kid can drive but every time he does something stupid, he goes and hides under mama's skirt.

The dude is all mouth.

From NASCAR.COM

Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick were fined $25,000 apiece and put on probation Tuesday by NASCAR for their actions on pit road at Darlington Raceway.

The probation for all NASCAR-sanctioned events runs through June 15, a span that includes four Sprint Cup Series championship races and the non-points $1 million All-Star event. It also includes Friday night's Truck Series race at Dover, an event Harvick entered only after his confrontation with Busch.

Probation is typically no more than a verbal warning that NASCAR will not tolerate any further misconduct during the designated period.

Busch and Harvick's on-and-off feuding resumed Saturday night after contact Busch had with Harvick led to Harvick wrecking with teammate Clint Bowyer late in the race.

Afterward, Harvick waited for Busch and then positioned himself to park his car in front of Busch on pit road. Busch pulled onto Harvick's bumper, Harvick climbed from his car and, just as he threw a punch into Busch's window, Busch used his car to bump Harvick's car out of the way.

The empty car turned and hit the inside wall. No one was hurt, but Harvick's crew members were running down pit road when the car hit the wall.

''These penalties are a result of what occurred on pit road after the race was over,'' said NASCAR spokesman Kerry Tharp. ''They are about maintaining a safe environment on pit road.''

NASCAR did not penalize Ryan Newman and Juan Pablo Montoya for their actions in their ongoing disagreements.

Their latest blowup began two weeks ago at Richmond, when Newman wrecked Montoya, and Montoya intentionally retaliated later in the race. A meeting between the two moderated by NASCAR at Darlington apparently grew heated— NASCAR said in a statement it ''did not go as well as we had hoped'' — and Newman is rumored to have punched Montoya.

Neither driver would confirm nor deny that a punch was thrown.

Although NASCAR said it was still considering penalizing Newman and/or Montoya, Tharp said it wasn't necessary.

''We believe they received our message loud and clear that enough is enough,'' Tharp said.

Just another example of NASCAR protecting and coddling the Toyota brand.

thumbsdown.gif

Maybe Barack Chavez can fabricate more Toyota recalls to boost his nationalized auto company sales and then get toyota penalized more in NASCAR while he's at it!

It seems that Carl Edwards was still a little miffed because Kevin Harvick called him a 'pansy’ for riding around at the rear of the field at Talladega last Sunday.

After Edwards called Harvick out over his comments the two drivers exchanged intense words – then Harvick tried to turn and walk away.

That’s when Edwards grabbed him on the shoulder and spun Harvick around.

Harvick then shoved Edwards across the hood of the No. 33 Chevrolet – leaving a huge dent in the process.

I'll take Harvick over Candyland all day long.

When I was watching the race Harvick clipped Busch in the bumper a couple laps earlier. Kyle didn't dump him at that time and I was surprised. The second time the two tangled Busch turned him and I think he was still ticked from the first bump from Harvick. Could be an interesting truck race, is Schrub gonna be driving his own equipment? If Harvick dumps him that will get him right in his pocketbook. Nice to see a bit of rivalry but hopefully these guys don't end up taking out half the field to get even.

Harvick decided to drive a truck in the race tonight right after the incident last week, but then NASCAR with their wishy-washy rules put them on a four-week probation which includes ALL the NASCAR series. I really doubt that anything will happen until that time period is over.

Boy, this is getting more fun to watch than Pro Wrestling. I guess if the sport is getting so vanilla from all of the rule changes that they need to inject a few off track story lines in order to keep interest so be it. But it would be better to just put a better product on the field and let it speak for itself.

I do not see anything happening until the chase.

If Harvick does not make the chase, then Pyle will have a bad day at one track for sure.

This kind of stuff is why Pyle can win races but not a championship. He is a good driver but a nut. Way to big of a mouth.
