Just wanted to ask for prayers for a family here on Lake Vermilion. Doug Knoer's wife Patty is loseing her battle with cancer at this point, and barring a miracle from the Lord, things are not looking very good. Doug is a guide here on the "V" and has been for 25 years. Both he and Patty are very much a part of the Vermilion community. There will be a silent auction/fund raiser for them on the 10th of July. If you would like to help in any way with that you may contact me. Doug is not an FM'er but he is one of us, a dedicated angler. Your prayers are appreciated.

The silent auction and golf tournament will be held on July 10th. The auction is to be held at The "Landing" on Head of the Lakes Bay.

Doug is also a member of Muskies Inc so I hope some of you fellow MI members out there, can make it to this event.
