There are two local places in Jordan MN that has really good Fried Chicken.

Radermacher's Super Value has some good fried chicken in their deli.

Clancy's bar and grill has really good fried chicken as well. Usually takes a while to get it if you order it on a regular night as lots of people come here just for the chicken.

Recently I was turned onto Raising Canes Chicken Fingers. These things were pretty delicious! Best chicken fingers I have ever had!

Heidi, if you haven't tried it you should give the Brass Rail in Grandy a shot. It's about a 1/2 hour up Highway 65 just past Cambridge. Biggest and best broasted chicken I've ever had, great cole slaw too and very reasonably priced.

Gee,

I live right off of 65, so the Brass Rail is my first stop.

Thanks. I work in Savage, so Jordan is my second place to hit.

Keep 'em coming folks

The grocery store in jordan has pretty good oven baked and broasted whole chicken's to go as well! But I think they are the same as the ones from cub

Am I honestly going to be the first to bring up the fried chicken at the Purple Palace (or Vining Palace, I suppose) in Vining? Next time you are in the SW part of Ottertail County, ask for it by name.

Probably the best I've had though in my short life was in Cadott, WI at a truck stop we just happened to stumble upon. Heavenly. I don't remember the name, but it was attached to a gas station and had a huge, classic dining bar in the middle.

in minnesota I would have to say try the broaster in faribault, mn they have really good chicken and shrimp also. now if you are ever in kansas go to pittsburg, ks and go to chicken annies. it has been ran by the same family since 1947. it started after the guy who was a miner in that area got hurt. his wife made such a good fried chicken that word spread and they decided to start to sell fried chicken to people in the area because he was no longer able to work do to a work accident. once they got older their kids took over and now today I believe it is the grand kids or great grand kids that run it. every year when I went down there I made a point to stop and eat there. it is one of those places off the beaten path but well worth it.
