dtro, although i got a good laugh out of your "yankees throwing a party comment", i really dont think you can blame gardy for the twins recent poor performances in the post season... take this year for example, gardy put the same players that got us to 94 wins on the field for the post season... it's not his fault that our players choke when the main spotlight is on them. i really dont see one logical way you can put the blame square on gardy's shoulders. gardy is putting the right players on the field... the players that got us to the post season... they are just not coming through in the clutch.

Yep, same thing in other sports. You would think athletes who are paid millions of dollars and cheered by thousands of fans would perform at the same level regardless of who is the coach or manager. Its the manager-coaches job to put there team in a position to win not light a fire under their a$$.

There is something about those Yankees though....... cry

Stop blaming the coaches. Gardy is a great coach. If you don't believe me, go ahead and cheer for some cleveland teams for a few years. Let me know how that works out.

Thank you! I get soooo sick and tired of listening to people all over the internet and everywhere else complain about every single coach in Minnesota. The team loses...oh well I guess we should probably go ahead and blame the coach...yeah great idea! FIRE ____! FIRE _____!

Gardy was just selected the 3rd best Manager in All of baseball by an expert panel on MLB Network....pretty good show if you have the channel and Harold Reynolds was PO-ed that Gardy wasn't #1.....he thought it was a no-brainer all things considered.

Does anyone remember what the twins were before Gardy took over for Tom Kelly? We all know Tom won the two world series but the twins were just awful during the late 90s. He helped turn around the twins to what they are today.

nobody could have done well with that group of misfits on some of those tk managed teams. we all know how well tk did once he had a team that had some players on it.

gardy had done well though with the players and division placement that he's been given. I think I'll be a lot happier with him this year now that lnp isn't there to seduce him into so much undeserved playing time.

They absolutely took the play-offs into consideration and mentioned it would be silly to judge him adversely by losing 3 5 game series to one of if not the greatest teams money can buy year in and year out!

It will be tough to replace N Punto but Gardy will find a way and the tunnel vision batting average only guys will be a lot happier too!

Go Twins/Gardy!

How many World Series have the Yankees won in that time-frame...seems other teams don't have a problem beating the big bad Yanks.

I like Gardy...he just doesn't get enough heat for being like 2-22 (estimate, but close) in playoff action.

Show me the money Gardy!!!

      got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out

      we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
