Finally!

After not seeing one deer I went out yesterday and saw a young seven point at eight twenty. Then around nine I had a button buck hanging around. The little button walked back towards me and froze and looked behind him upwind. Then he ran off and I knew he did'nt wind me so I focused all my attention in that direction. Then he stepped out walked right through my shooting lane offering no shot as he walked by to fast. Grabbed my bleat can turned it over and he came straight in.

My buddy used the can on Monday and got a decent buck. We found 4 fresh scrapes Sunday night, I livened them up with doe pee (trails end 307) and then next morning at 710 he shot him. Dropped him right on the scrape in fact.

that is a georgous buck congrats!

his score will depend a ton on whether it is scored as a main frame 10 or 8. That broken beam will hurt the score. My guess is upper 140's lower 150's, with the beam intact(making it a for sure 10 pt) it would be in the 160's.

You sure can be proud that is a awesome buck!!

Thanks, had a Guy that measures take a look quick and he thought 160's. He's hopefully coming to green score it tomorrow. Either way I couldn't be more happy.

That beam actually isn't broke it splits a little and has a hole with dried velvet in the hole.

Nice deer. Gotta love the can when the chasin phase is going on. Curious as to what you guys think this brusier will go. His G-2 on his left side was 11.75 inches. I know there will be some deductions but I'm more interested in what you all think it'll gross. Its a 12 point with almost 20 inches inside spread.

Mid 170's. Maybe a little higher. Might be in the 180's! That's a beautiful buck! Look at that left brow tine!!!!! Wouldn't want to tussle with him.
