Great game so far, I'm glad we pounded the rock and didn't get lured into a shoot out. Keep the Aints offense off the field, make their defense tired, and keep the fans out of the game.

AP is looking good, I seen some nice lanes hopefully he can break one. Favre is getting warmed up, hopefully the Aints come out sluggish!!

I thought we did well on the road in a hostile environment. We were missing our #1 WR, #2 and #3 corner.

We'll be alright once Camarillo learns more of the playbook and Percy n Farve get on the same page. We sure could of used Vincent Jackson!

Work the rust out for next week. Take care of business at home in September and weather the storm in October (@ Jets, Dallas, @ Pack, @ Pats). Tough to lose but they need to be realistic in the first half of their schedule.

--Berrian is way overpaid...and Favre doesn't trust him...for good reason

--Pat Williams got his arse handed to him

--Saints O-line won the game

--Where was Camarillo...???

--Our secondary played pretty well

Tough to win in New Orleans...teams are pretty evenly matched with the home team winning...no shame in that.

one other observation. why does Allen dominate so much on defense at the metrodome but seem to seldom come up on the highlights on road games?

One more observation:

Peyton is a much better coach than Chilly...he set the Vikes up in the 1st half with an almost exclusive passing game. Vikes choose to only bring 4 rushers at a time...all game long...which is one of the most physically demanding things to do in football (rush the passer).

He ended the game running the ball down the throats of the same four guys who [PoorWordUsage] themselves out in the 1st half.

Vikes did the exact opposite.

Why are we carrying 9 or 10 d-linemen and not using them...especially late?

Did anyone sit through the hour long Saints/New Orleans drama fest before the game? Since when did football games carry so much social ratifications? I felt like if the vikings beat the saints they would be responsible for all the devastation in New Orleans. I guess in the end the NFL got what they wanted again, another prime time saints victory to help heal the region. Oh well, now the vikes can focus on football since the media B.S is over. I'm just looking forward to hurricane Thor finally destroying the Saints in January (when it matters)

I read a few posts, funny how I don't see any [PoorWordUsage] and moaning about calls from the refs this game. Is it possible that the Saints just plain beat you this year AND last year?

I can't wait to hear all the Queens fans try and justify Favre not being in camp and turn it into a blame Childress flaming, Favre looked like he was playing with a bunch of guys he just met..........

I have a feeling the Vikings will be 1 and 5 by the time they meet Green Bay in Week 7, with that win either against the Dolphins or Lions. The Packers have a REAL shot at being 7-0 at that time and that's a HUGE hole to dig out of for the Queens.........

Too bad they couldn't have opened against the Browns again, maybe Favre could have just eased into the season this year too..........
