Carp and other Rough fish pics

How is the hole there now that they took out the old culvert? Is it much of a barrier anymore?

There is still a hole there, I think it might even be a little deeper but it is hard to tell. The fish can move through easily now, so they aren't stacked up like they used to be.

Pulled my first Bowfin of the year last week. Fun fight, I love catching these things. Smacked that crankbait you see there. Only one in the boat and had no net so it was a fun landing job

Went 24" and weighed 5.24 Pounds.

Hit up the croix in late september/early october. 17-20" bass non stop. I even got a 19" White and a 17" sauger on the same crankbait-one on each treble.

Two days of that, and your hands hurt for two weeks!

not caught from a kayak, but from the boat landing we pulled up to. nothin special to tell, didn't have a tape or a scale with either. But some guys were fishing in the exact same spot this morning and they had a 19 pound 9 ounce carp in a bucket, and the carp I'm holding was definitely bigger. So I'd guess around 25 pounds.
