Rippinlip
I know its early in the game, nine plus minutes left in the half, but so far I like these:1. Dorito's - dog putting the shock collar on the guy teasing him about speaking.2. Bud Light - house made out of Bud Light.3. Budweiser - Human Bridge.4. Career builder - Casual Friday's
LMITOUT
Casual Friday's is the best so far. The Bud Light commercials have been so-so. The plane crash on a desert island was pretty good though.

Wouldn't the bottles have broke? Shoulda had cans in the commercial
Steve Foss
Only good one so far was the Favre 2020 MVP one. The rest have been flat out stupid, aimed at 12-year-olds. Hopefully they'll pull out the good material over halftime and during the second half.

LMITOUT
The Leno, Oprah, Letterman commercial was uncomfortably funny. There have been quite a few duds though.
harvey lee
The Farve one was good but I will go with the dog collar one. That was a classic.
LMITOUT
The rest have been flat out stupid, aimed at 12-year-olds. If you want high brow commercials you'll have to turn to PBS. You have to take into account the demographic of those watching NFL games. Speaking of the PBS (boring and aimed at old people) who picked The Who for the halftime *cough* entertainment? Horrible. Nothing more than a plug for the CSI shows on CBS.
Esox_Magnum
Dog collar was funny, Bret was good to. Who sounds like nails on a chalkboard
Steve Foss
I liked the Africa sleepwalker Coke ad and the Google ad as individual ads. The ETrade bunch was definitely the best as a series, IMO. It felt like a down year to me. I remember the last several years I spent a lot of time laughing at a bunch of ads. This year the Doritos and Bud Light ads were stupid and seemed to dominate things by their numbers. I will say I liked the regular Bud ad with the human bridge. The Dennys ads were pretty good, too.I missed the dog collar one. I'll have to pick it up later.I agree on The Who. People in their 60s with vocal cords stiff as 2x4s should give up singing anywhere but their own shower, and even then only when no one else is home. It sounded like it hurt them as much to sing as it did for me to listen to it.
goblueM
weak commercials all around i thought. must be the economy... I love The Who, but please, can we get a contemporary band that isn't way past their prime? Even if i didn't like that group's music I'd be way more excited about the halftime show

harvey lee
Overall some pretty lame ones this year.Heck, they must have had 30 of them.More like the Super Bowl of commercials.

If it was a soccer game then they woulda been more fitting.

They used to "wow" us with effects and high-tech styled commercials before. Now that happens all year long. I mean how many times can you re-invent babies and a financial on-line trading/advisory company? Only 5 seconds long, I will also add I did like the Late Night commercial. Quote: can we get a contemporary band that isn't way past their prime? Amazingly the only reason I watched half-time this year was because of the Who playing. Short of that, only Janet and Justin would have got to watch it. Well maybe The Rolling Stones. IMO the music industry as a whole right now is in the dumper. I just can not warm up to Lady GaGa and Bouncy (?).

Shack
I guess this remake was kind of funny and interesting: The dog shock collar one has been done before in the past in another commercial. Once they go out of bounds of reality so far as to animate a dog legs putting on a bark collar on a human, I just do not find the humor in that. If bark collars just came out last year, it would have been funny.
soldoncass
The "bark collar" was my favorite....probably cause the guy deserved it BIG TIME. Tough kid DORITOS was #2. A couple were o.k. (Favre and football granny), but the rest were............................. The 1/2 time shows ALWAYS get turned OFF.
bobbymalone
i kinda liked the sock monkey and friends on vacation commercial.pretty lame that several plays were not shown because of commercials. I know saw that happen at least a couple times. for one the ball was on the 40 yard line or something, they go to commercial, come back the ball is on the 15? WTH?!?
