solbes
Hmm, well talking with McNabb might spur on #4. At least speed up his process by 1-2 months. Maybe instead of deciding in July, he'd decide in June. I say stick with Favre or make a trade for QB (not McNabb please).
Dave S
Well, we've had Sharper, we've got Favre and Longwell, let's try to pull Rogers from GB. So what if he runs for a safety or two. If we don't have Favre suited up next year, I'll predict GB wins the division next year.

zepman
I think Favre has too much respect for the Vikings to let us hang out to dry on his decision. He said it would come pretty quickly this off-season...let's hope so. James...isn't late 1st round a little early for a qb like Pike? I would think we'd be able to get him in the 2nd...maybe not??? Lee Lane
As a vikes fan since i was in the first grade ill admit I hated farve when he was with green bay but i respeceted him because he was a real player he got er done and ill also admit that I thought when he came to the vikings this year i thought it was going to be a DISASTER but the man showed me something!! I hope he comes back for another year....defenses around the league would be thinking they could tee off on him but I think hes got more touchdown passes left hope to see him back
koonie
Heard on 2 sources today the vikes are already eyeing Pike from Cinnci with that 30th pick. I guess we'll see... Any rumors you hear now are lies and smokescreens. Besides there is no way Pike will go in the first round. Every team that has any, and I repeat, any quarterback issues will be eying Pike and every other quarterback coming out in this draft. This is just stupid blather so these sources have something to talk about.

JBMasterAngler
I don't think pike is going to be a good NFL QB anyway. I'd rather see the vikes take jason lefevour (central michigan) in the 2nd round. Use the 1st round pick to draft the best available D-back. 3rd round use on eric decker. Best case scenario, favre comes back and lefevour gets to learn from the great for a season and then take over in 2011
Big Tom
Anybody but McNabb or T-Jack.
JBMasterAngler
Why does everyone hate McNabb so much? He had garbage for a running game, and even more garbage for a receiving core, and he still lead the eagles to 4 straight NFC championship games! And the 1 year he did have a good receiver (I hate T.O. more than anything, but he was good) they went to the superbowl. And they were there last year too! Not to mention he's done this in probably the worst sports city in the country. I think McNabb would benefit more from a change in scenery than any other player in recent history. However, I wouldn't give up 3 1st rounders for him...that's pretty steep for anyone.
rushing
I think and hope Farve will be back. Please no Vick...he isn't much better than T-Jax.
rayguy
McNabb would be junk. Hurt all the time and his teamates hate him. Now Vick would fit in with all the past and present Viking lawbreakers.

I had personally not done any research on this, this was just what i had heard on the radio, and maybe i was mistaken and they werent talking with the 30th pick. And ya now taking a look he is looking to go in about the 3rd round.
Leadhead
I think he's done. I would be very surprised if he plays another year.
