Anyway, now go ahead and pull up the strength of schedule numbers. I dare ya. I double dare you. Nah, don't bother...you've already lost. Hi-ho Silver....AWAYYYYYYYYYYY!!! zepman
Who've they've played is meaningless at this point. They're both here and the one true advantage is OUR HOME FIELD. There are no Super Bowl trophies handed out to the team with the "toughest" schedule.

james_walleye
The vikings ended up with the 15th hardest strength of schedule. The bengals had the same record and a one game easier schedule than the cowboys. I believe the line started with the vikings by 2.5 and has moved to 3, kinda thought it would move the other way. Those numbers can be fixed daily by the money bet. From what I have been told by a busy book, never bet on the spread.

Or will you then play down how the Cowboys had such an easy schedule, and the few teams with winning records they beat, where on the downside of their game, so the Vikes should have won?I would think you would have blisters on your hands by now, from all the pot stirring! Steve Foss
So, when the Vikes give the Cowboys a good whoopin on Sunday, will you then admit the Vikes are a good team? Dude, clear the blinders from your eyes and puke up the KoolAid. No one with half a brain denies that the Vikes are a good team. Frankly, we all know they are an EXCELLENT team. That being said, KoolAid won't advance any team to the Super Bowl, or win the Super Bowl for them. LMITOUT and I have had our differences in the past, but I've always acknowledged that his arguments have a grain of truth in them. Sometimes it's deeply embedded, but it's definitely there. KoolAid drinkers, however, have never been fond of probing for truths they don't want to hear.
harvey lee
All the reports I heard today have said the winner of the Dallas-Vikes game will be in the SB.Depends on who shows up to win. I think the Vikes need to score first and early to pump up the defense.Than, I believe they have a shot.
BlueLundFishrman
Will the NFL allow Brett Farve to lose and not make it to the Super Bowl?
LMITOUT
If the Vikings win this Sunday I will then say they have a shot. Up until then I still say they haven't proven anything this year and are far from excellent. Compared to past teams? Sure. But to the rest of the league this season? No way. I give the Vikings the edge because it is a home game. I dont think the Vikes will win the Super Bowl, I am not even holding my breath that they will get there. The team has many needs, our secondary sucks, our linebackers are inexperienced, and at times our coach calls the dumbest plays. But luckily for the Vikes, the other teams in the NFC also have huge needs, because of that, they have a chance, and because I am a Vikings fan, I will cheer them on, and talk smack
Stratosman
Limits last post is probably the only one that I have fully agreed with, at least on this thread. Maybe ever. The Vikes have alot to prove still, to themselves and to the fans that know not to get too riled up before they have even played a game outside of the regular season.Dallas may be overrated, but it's time to prove that the Vikes aren't! we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Rick Posted January 13, 2010 we are 'the leading edge' HSO Creators Share Posted January 13, 2010 It is definitely time for the Vikes to get down to business. According to the National media and LMIT the Vikes don't stand a chance. I'm looking forward to this game where they don't have a chance. It will be a fun one to watch, either way it goes.Go Vikes!!! pegleg
The way I look at it - the Vikes beat the Packers twice this year by 7 and 10 points. The Packers beat Dallas this year by 10 Points. Therefor I see the Vikings beating Dallas by 17 to 20 points in a blow out.
FISHINGURU
I love when everyone says the Vikes don't stand a chance, them are the games we win, I hope every single person in the National media picks the Cowgirls. They all picked the Packers also muahahahahahahahahahahah!! wahoohendoo
if you want a good chuckle or to get yourself all worked up, go to the cowboys official HSOforum (chat rooms). they give the vikes no respect what so ever. they are actually looking past us and into the nfc championship. they might even think the sb rings are in the mail. ive aways hated the 'girls but now they MIGHT have leap frogged the pack (for the rest of this year anyway). check that site out
