bogwalker
Mom turned 93 last September. Dad passed away in 1965. Mom never married again. She was a one man woman. Born in 1916 she saw her world change from horse and buggy to space shuttles. Her life was spent helping others in need. The last years of her life she moved in with my family. Life became confusing to her as it does to so many but she never complained. Christmas morning 2009 her aging body had enough. By December 28 she reached the end of her earthly journey. She died with the grace and dignity she lived with for 93 years. In her own bed she fell asleep for the last time. Her room is now cold and empty but our hearts are not. Thanks Mom.
