Pman
Watch the winds for tomorrow - one report said 15 to 25 from the west with higher gusts - that can be pretty nasty on the east shore of the Big O.
Thunderman
I was thinking about getting one of those parachute things that would work good for days like tommorow not much walking involved.Or maybe a ROTOTILLER .
CNY Tim
That Rototiller was the bomb it crept the guy along at about 3 mph hour I would guess. Wasn't close enough to get a snap a picture of this thing but it didn't look like he had to much of a problem even in the deeper snow. Oh the the things you see on the ice. Just when you thought you would have seen it all especially at our ages. Wow Chris nice haul.. Wish I could have got yur waldo's together for a nice shot... Good luck tomorrow gang. Be safe and check your chutes

Pman
Todd - I'm still laughing at this remark. Wish the hell we had a pic of Roto Man. Nobody at home believes me.

kirkville1
well back from the same spot as yesterday, 24 jumbos, 2 walleye (17 ,17 1/2" ) lost 2 bigger ones at the hole. Also caught a smallmouth and a bunch of pin pike. Majority of fish were caught on a hexi-fly loaded w/ spikes. Was ok in the AM then absolutely nothing from 10-12:30 ish, then slowly back into them. Dark Cloud
Nice job Ladies! Thunder - Try doubling up the thickness on those jigs, gives em a better drop in the deeper stuff. I see your rockin that rod in the one pict, apparently you like it
Thunderman
Dc, they are not getting by with the lite bite on that rod yes it works great .I have yet to catch a calico on it yet but I haven't fished for them this year some of the perch we are getting are bringing the jig up so that resembles the calico bite. The willows I will be working on this week after work today in 21fow there was a current and was having to fiddle with the gain with that jig.I am going to try to weight it with straight lead and it should be interesting. CNY Tim
See you guys in the morning same bat time same bat channel. Franky is out for breakfast so I will just meet everyone there at the launch. Confirmed are Doug, Dave, Rick, Craig, and Franky will be arriving for the afternoon run. Dont know what the Smiths or Wheels are doing yet. Want to thank Chris for the coordinates and Jake for providing some visuals for us. Bringing the power auger and the camera. Hope the snow stays north of us however fishing did pick up a bit the other day when that sideways fluff was flying.

Easy on the power auger she's running like a champ. I watched a little Daytona yesterday looking for the big pile up, but was pleased to see Dale Jr. jump from 10th on the last restart to finish 2nd The Oneida stroke was well pretty slow today. Fished with Josh his Dad and Uncle, Dave, John, Rick and Franky. The tip-up guys did the best with 23 perch and no eyes except for pin pike. John.. Dave C's buddy caught this dandy walleye and he had 9-10 nice perch with it. John - Nice walleye! Caught this one eye on a 1/12th oz. gold kastmaster I caught a dozen nice perch to go with the eye. Hexi-fly's Tip-up Josh! Dave caught a dozen and Franky hit a few too. It was pretty slow today. We didn't get to the spot we wanted to go to as I blazed trail through some nasty snow on the way to the lake. The ice close to shore had 3.5" to 4" of snow as we walked out more a bit less but you definitely got a work out looking for fish today. Franky don't forget to get the sled registered tomorrow. What a haul out and back. I'm a bit sore but I'll be ready go back and do it again. Josh good luck tomorrow! Ice was good everywhere we cut and I buried the auger transmission on a couple holes in the pack ice. Weather was windy and over cast and when franky came on the ice later the wind died down finally and we even had a bit of sun. Good times guys. Maki- I am going to Massachusetts on Sunday so unfortunately I'll probably miss you while your in CNY this coming weekend. Call ya tomorrow. Pman
Another good outing, had a nice time on the hardwater today. Caught some dandies on the Thunder special , thanks again T-man. Tim nice job on the fish and the photos. Sure would have been nice if Frankies Shuttle Service was up and running . Franky thanks for the fish, my next door neighbor will be very appreciative. When's our next outing? Thunder you were missed. Didn't miss any fish today because of laughing too hard.

CNYFrank
The walking was a good work out but I kept wondering who was going to do mouth to mouth in this crowd . . . I have been inspired. I have everything in the Tahoe to register the shuttle service: voucher for joining a club (grrr), trailer registration, and the Yamamama!
CNY Lee
Frank, I thought I read somewhere that if you are using your sled / wheeler for fishing / hunting you aren't forced to join a club and pay trail fee's. Good job guys, sure wish I was out there today.
