Playoffs

Who would you want play in the second round of the playoffs?? Arizona, Phili, Dallas, or Green Bay. Even though we beat the Pack twice and lost to Arizona out of those 4 I think Dallas and Arizona are the most beatable right now. The way things look at the moment the last one I would want to face is Phili.

Dallas #1 without a question. Arizona #2...just because we owe them big time and I don't think we lose that game at home. Green Bay would be o.k. too as I think we just match up really well with them...although they look to be as dangerous of a team as anyone right now. Philly last because I think Chilly has an inferiority complex with his old boss and they can flat out light it up.

I like the Vikes chances against anyone at home.

Dallas #1

GB #2

Arizona #3

Phily #4

The way dallas is playing right now, they aren't even going to make the playoffs.

Green bay will be a win in the dome, if they had to go to GB (which they don't) it might a tough game.

Arizona, after the play against SF, I can't beleive we lost to them.

Phily is playing tough, the only good thing is we would be playing them at home.

1) Philly - Gotta beat the best to be the best and right now it's either them or the Pack. Screw the wimpy "what's the easiest way to get to the championship" Great teams take care of business.

2) Packers - Close 2nd. We'll take care of business for the 3rd time at home.

3) AZ - Revenge at home

4) Giants - Won't play them in the second round, cuz if they do make the playoffs, they'll be the last seed.

5) Cowboys - See Giants, but won't make the playoffs.

Eagles will be #3 seed. They will play the #6 seed Giants.GB will play at Arizona.....Vikes will play whichever team is left with the highest seed.NO gets the lower seed left after those first 2 games.

My guess is the Vikes will play the Eagles.

The way we (AZ) played SF i cant believe we would even have a shot at the playoffs. With Fitzgerald hurt but says he is going to play this week, it will be interesting to see what they can do. Bouldin is coming around and the d line is usually holding their own. Now if the RB's hightower and bennie well can put some glue on their hands we might be ok. Need to back to the basics, the owner told the coach a few weeks ago that they will not loose another home game. Seems that they did not say anythign about playing away.

Philly coz they've owned us and it's time for some payback. Chilly needs to beat his former boss to get some cred. Honestly the Vikes could beat any team if they play like up to their potential. Normally we beat ourselves except for the AZ game, that game was a mess.

If we get the bye...DOAH!

I hate to say it but probably the Packers who I've been saying all along I didn't want to play a 3rd time. With the Cardinals my 2nd choice, playing them at home should help.

Dallas, Philly and now the Giants seem to be playing pretty good ball right now.

Anyway it shapes out we can beat or lose to any team or so it appears...

Go

Vikes!

Not the Packers. Its very tough to beat the same team three times in any sport in a year.

That's an old wives tale. Here is reality.

Since the NFL-AFL merger in 1970, there have been 18 times when a team went into a playoff game with a chance to complete a three-game season sweep, according to STATS, Inc. Those teams are 11-7.

Ohhhhh, I get it now. You guys only deal in reality when it suits you.

Hmmph. Interesting.

What else is interesting is that statistics are pulled out (from a company called STATS no less) to squash an "old wives tale", yet on the other thread where rankings are posted based on stats they are dismissed and called hogwash.

Again, interesting....
