TV personality to fish with?

So many great names already mentioned. After any of the ladies I would have to go with John Gillespie. Just to see how long it takes him to crash a Yamaha or fall on the ice. It seems he comes close every show.

What a good person he is! Just your average everyday Minnesota nice person who really knows how to fish!

In my 25 years as a guide, I have had the opportunity to fish a number of "Famous" on air personalities. Some of whom were not nearly as fun to be in the boat with as it may look on TV.

The one I'd be happy to fish with again anytime is Ron Shara. He is truly one of the nicest people you would ever want to spend the day with in your boat. Jim Linder is also a great guy and I would fish with him anytime as well.

Don Shelby he is a great fisherman and one heck of a nice and honest guy I met him a few times my sister Mary used to work with him(off camera) he is good people

I have fished with Matt Johnson. A great guy with tons of knowledge.

I also fished Musky and 'Eyes with our own Brian Jones. Another great guy who really knows his stuff.

Hrbek would be a lot of fun.

Gillespe I'd probably hit him to often with the Frabil trying to get him to stop screaming... but would probably have a good time anyway..

and one probably a lot of you don't know is a young man named Chris Meyer. He catches so many fish you'd think a scuba diver was down there putting the 'eyes on his lure.

I would fish with any of the guys mentioned, but I think in order of top 3 it would be 1. Doug Stange, the guy's an encyclopedia of fishing knowldege. 2. Jason Mitchell, running and gunning at its finest. 3. John Gillespie, Johnsonvilles + Leinies = a good day anytime.

Tony Dean would have been my first choice. I bet it would have been great to meet him. Seems pretty honest, and speaks from the heart. My current one would be Al Linder. He also has those same values.

I do want to say that it would be fun to watch Gillespie, but not sure if I would want to try and fish in all that.
