Cyberfish
This is my first attempt at a lifesized "replica drawing" of my 11 inch bluegill. sort of a budget mount I guess. I really liked doing it, and it turned out pretty good. I think I am going to use a projector in future "mounts" to trace the shape exactly. this one isn't quite right, a little long, and the head a bit small... shizzy
nothing wrong with that! Im sure if I tried it would be similar to a stick figure person.
Cicada
Very cool. Is it done, or are you going to add to the picture?
jwmiller33
nice work! do you have any plans for the background? perhaps make it underwater and add some baitfish or weeds or some structure? just an idea. great work!
Traxxx
Looks pretty good. Congrats. Caught a 11" last winter that looked very similar but the head was completely round. Hoping to catch her this winter when shes 12" Did you happen to get a weight on that beast?
nofishfisherman
I think most fisherman would have made it a little long, thats just the way a fisherman's mind works. Everything gets a little bigger then reality. Nice job, love the detail in the color. I don't think I'd add a background to it. If anything maybe just a flat color. I like that the fish is the only subject, like a true trophy should be. Now just frame that baby up and hang it for all to see. You may have inspired me to do a couple of my own now. I caught 2 sunfish that went 11 inches this summer both were released but I've got good pics of both to work from.

Jeremy airjer W
Who Knew? My first county fair blue ribbon was a water color of largemouth going after a frog looking up from the bottom and from the side.I wouldn't have any problem entering yours if I was you and see what happens! Scott M
Nice job MT! Thanks for sharing; that is from the fall BSL trip? I was a decent fish artist as a kid, then hung it up. Still have a framed drawing of a crappie in the basement from 4th grade.
