Last weekend was awesome. Caught a ton of LM bass biggest being 21" and 7 more over 20", plus lots of small ones to keep a guy interested. I'm hopin the weather will hold out for the thanksgiving weekend. Dragging and deadsticking a tube on rocks in 3-10 ft of water.

Well, I dont know if it's been winterized yet, guess whoever stole it has to do that! smile But, I am taking brother-in-laws lund out on Saturday, probably last time for year unless it stays warm enough...

Dude, that made me sad and laugh at the same time.. For those that dont know the story, Cecil brought his boat into a dealer to be fixed for something and the boat was stolen. . I wish bad things on people who steals another mans bass boat. VERY EVIL THINGS~

Sorry to hear about the boat Cecil. At least there is a silver lining with a new boat on the way. I'd be really [PoorWordUsage] about not having my boat for a month and half of fall fishing.

I probably should've had the boat winterized a couple weeks ago based on my fishing success. I've really taken a beating the last couple of weeks. Just can't get em dialed in on my typical fall lakes. Not for lack of effort. This weekend i spent about 9 hours total on 3 lakes and managed 3 bass and 3 pike. Last weekend hit a couple lakes for about the same amount of time and picked up 1 4 lber. Hopefully can get out once this week after school, after that i'll be praying for open water come thanksgiving weekend for another trip or two.

Cecil,

Sorry to hear about the boat. I hope that insurance is covering everything and the dealership is bending over backwards to make you happy. Was all of your gear in the boat as well? I hope the insurance hassle is working well for you. I have been dealing with insurance companies over the past few years for my house and car and it is a pain in the #@$.

Cecil,

I'd give my eye teeth for any of those boats with those motors.

Get the best deal you can and you can't go wrong with the Ranger or Triton. Agreed polarsusd81, I don't know how they are thinking they can get away with the theft. They are going to have to register the boat and trailer again, especially out of state, aren't they?

Insurance is going fine, just the debate between the repair shop and our insurance company. The repair place is only liable for the value of the boat, but we have replacement insurance.

No, the boat was pretty empty other than the in-dash flashers, toolbox a couple seats and the cover was on it.

I have no idea what they plan to do with it, especially since the lower unit needs work and they will need to register it. I would think they would take it out of state and then maybe have another VIN# put on it, not sure.
