glenn57
so whats everyones thoughts on the vikes beating pitts. personally i DO think they got a good shot. as long as they play 60 minutes of good football.
Jim Uran
They'll win... no doubt. Big Ben will be picking the turf out of his teeth by the end of it.
Gary Crichton
I think that 60 minutes is to long for our team right now. They may have issues the next 2 games.I will take Pittsburgh. Big Ben is going to pick apart our secondary and it could get ugly.
Jim Uran
I think I just puked in my mouth when I read that.
PierBridge
What Gary said! But it is the NFL and we could get lucky like last week but I doubt it.... 6-2 is a good record though heading into the 2nd half of the season....
glenn57
hey we,re going to beat the packers the following week!!!!!!!!!
MUSKY18
This is definately going to be the biggest game of the year for the Vikes so far this year. I see us going 1-1 over the next two games. Losing a close on to the Steelers and beating the packers at Lambeau. We go into our bye week at 7-1 and we are way ahead of where everyone thought we would be. If the defense picks its game up a bit and our running game gets on track, we beat both teams. I think AP is the key to the next couple of games. Put the game on his shoulders and lets RUN!!!! Scott K
I see a pretty good loss in our near future, 33-16 Steelers. Although, we will beat the pack by 10 the following week!
walleyes12
very tough game! Vikes still pull it out. 27-
Jim Uran
27-16 Vikes!!! Can't wait until Sunday.
Swimbait2009
The second key is our pass rush. Mendehall is not the receiving threat that Rice was, so they won't be able to slow Jared Allen down that way. If we can pressure Roethlisberger (they give up somewhere near the league high in sacks), hopefully he'll make some bad decisions that we can take advantage of. I predict a forced fumble by Jared Allen.AP will be decent in this one, and we need him to be to keep our defense on the sidelines for a game. They've got to be tired and we'll need them again next week. This is a tough three week stretch we're in the middle of.Vikings 24, Steelers
harvey lee
I see both QB's having a great day. The Vikes seem to have Lady luck on their side so I am going to go out on a limb and say the Vikes win by 4. Lets see, how about 70 total points scored.Thats with a healthy Winfield and AP. Without them, Farve is not that great.
Mike_Top
Keep in mind that teams have been playing from behind in most of our games this year, abandoning their running games and passing...I think our coaching staff needs to get our defense to not get lax with a big lead after seeing what baltimore did last weekThat being said, the vikes will win this weekend. Pit's o-line is terrible at pass protection, and allen and kev williams will have a game...what's scary though is that pitt is all about the pass this year with their lack of a running game. could either give up 400 pass yds or they could sack big ben all day and force him to throw picks. will be a great game!!! alwaysonthemove
Well I am a vikes fan So I say we are 8-0 by the bye week. It seams like there is always some hidden talent that is coming out every week. Or we are starting to be a more sound team. Yeah we have stuff to work on but so does every other team. Anything could happen sunday. Ben could go down with the williams boys atop him be hurt for the rest of the year. Our defense could get three picks. That alone could be the game.hopefully the defense is not as exposed this sunday. winfield might be able to play and it also sounds like we might call up our 6th round pick? Born2Fish
I think after the 4th quarter the Vikings defense had against Baltimore, they are going to do what they need to make sure that does not happen again. The Vikings pass defense has always been fairly poor against the pass. I am sure that Ben will get his yards, but I also see the Vikings getting a significant number of sacks and possibly interceptions this week. The Vikings offense has seemed to click pretty much every game. So I really have no worries there. In the end I see the Vikes coming out ahead, 21-10. koonie
winfield might be able to play and it also sounds like we might call up our 6th round pick? I'm guessing we'll activate Asher Allen. Who is the 6th round pick you're talking about? Drawing a blank on that one.
zepman
Pittsburg is not the team of last year and yes, their O-Line is one of the weakspots on their team. If A.P. can pull out 125 yds + the Vikes win a close one. Should be a very good game.
Slowhand
What's the weather supposed to be like? I hope its raining and AD is a mudder .
paceman
I think Bret will recognize that he will need to slow the game down and keep Big Ben on the sidelines. Dink/dunk and run AP and slide down the field. That will keep our defense rested which in turn will pressure Ben enough for him to make a few mistakes. Percy will take a punt to the house and we will leave with a very impressive 31-14 victory.
BlueLundFishrman
Steelers 23 Vikings
Born2Fish
We all know what happens when your offensive line is not the best and you have to play the Vikings(ask Aaron Rogers). So if the Vikings happen to find a weak spot on that line, Ben had better watch out. Allen is on a mission this year, and opposing QB's have been paying the price. I think he wants to add Bens head to his ever growing list of casualties!!

Hitman54
I think the steelers will win this game and in reality it doesn't even matter. I think they should try and get healthy this week and get ready for the Pack. They should sit AP and Winfield and Percy too. Let them heal up and get ready to win in Green Bay. Jim Uran
The Steeler are a bit more of a test than the cheeseheads. We need this game, not from a record standpoint, but for a confidence booster.
