I see Jackson as better than Russell, not that it means much.. lol!

The rest of the QB's on that list are better QB's than Jackson. I can say that and love the Vikings at the same time some how.. Hmmm who would have thought! smile

I don't se you as being a bears fan hating on a Vikings qb either laugh

Imagine that....

Actually it would be your fuzzy math dtro as what you are talking about is the mid-point and not necessarily the average. Out of 10 QBs you could have 4 average QBs or many variations.

hard to say if junkson is better or not....you'd have to see what kind of a season he'd have for the oakland raiders.

we seen what he can do with a top running game and defense...lets see what he can do on some of the worse teams in the NFL!

I think we would all agree that there are better QB’s in the league. With that given, in order for him to be classified as average, that would mean there are then those that have to be beneath him.

I’m waiting to see which ones on those list you think are worse. By definition there has to be if he is average. Now if you said “below average” that would be different. laugh Even the worst QB could be classified as below average.

That's easy,

in my opinion, out of those that were starters last week he's better than:

Ryan Fitzpatrick

Chris Redman

Jake Delhomme

Brady Quinn

Kyle Boller

Mark Sanchez

Bruce Gradkowski

Dennis Dixon

Josh Freeman

There are a number that are in the same average category and a number that are better. Don't bother asking because I'm not going to take the time to sort them out. It was a generalization [bOX] man.

5 of those guys weren’t even on the Week 1 starting rotation. They are essentially backups. I would hope, an average starter would be better than them.

But fair enough, you were able to find several that are probably worse.

I would have to say that T-Jack is average-below average even on this list of below average QBs.

T-Jack looked very good in the last 4 regular season games he played in last year.

I'd say with playing behind Favre now and the seasoning he gets watching how an elite QB does it, our T-Jack haters will be eating an even MORE solid diet of crow soon enough, when T-Jack does get the start. grin

LOL,

the T-Jack haters were dreaming about getting Brady Quinn including FG and JW, great football minds that they are wink

Glad we got Favre instead of meeting FISHINGURU's wishes and giving up a pick for Quinn. grin

Still picking crow out of their teeth I see. laugh

You guys don't know how well those guys would be on a REAL team. The Vikes are a real team and Favre has brought that out of us. Something Tjack COULD'NT do. You can whine and say we haven't been healthy while Tjack was in, but that's a crock.

No way dude... Manning is up there on the level Favre plays. Favre made this team so good compared to what Tjack did it's not even debatable. It opened my eyes big time, we never had a "great" quarterback before, well not in my generation. Seeing one play every week sure is nice.

So with the loss of Braylon from the Browns I would almost compare there anemic recieving Corp to that of the 2006 Vikings....you really think if you put Favre on that team they are competitive?

Any team would be more competative with Brette Favre than without him.

i'd still take quinn over junkson anyday, you guys are hilarious.

quinn did no worse on the worst team in football as junkson did on one of the better teams...wake up and smell the coffee junkson held our team back.

its funny when all the other qb's even retired ones dream to play on a team like ours...favre will come out of retirement...steve young said he should come out of retirement to play for us because it would be to easy.

junkson hasn't even learned to read defenses because all they need to do is 8 and 9 man fronts....thats it...other qb's get to see alot more then junkson.

i wanted favre to play for us also so quit pretending.....99% of MN wanted ANYONE but JUNKSON....period.

we all got our wish while you junksonites eat crow every game he sits on the bench! DINNER IS SERVED!
