Froggy4371
Imagine that me, dad and bro did not get one. 650 permits do not go far in big zone with more deer then they can count. The worst part is they admit it. That is ok since they changed the season to 9 days in a row I am only going slug hunting for the sake of taking my son out. At least he can still shoot anything.Froggy
UdeLakeTom
Where in 154 do you hunt??? We are just west of Mcgregor on 210.
fish stalker
I have a question for you guysI was succesfull in my area for a permit during muzzy season. I also bought a firearms license and there are surplus permits for the same area. can I get one of those permits for the firearms season? Froggy4371
Fish Stalked the answer is no. They just do not allow that.Froggy
Froggy4371
Fish Stalker,I retract my last statement. They changed the rule (do not know when) but there is a thing on the DNR web site about purchasing left over permits. There is no charge but a $3.50 handling fee.Froggy
Nathansdad
2 for 4 in 154. Sad part is there are as many does as I have ever seen in the area we hunt. Looks like we'll take our 2 does and trophy hunt the rest of the season.

BucksnDucks
Did anyone else notice the landowner free permit, for allowing public hunting on there lands? Of the 6 different landowners I contacted today, every single one had the same response "I've already got family that hunt on all my land"! Sounds like a giant loop-hole for anyone who would like to jew the dnr outta some $ to me.

Rebel9921
This will be a bit off-subject but I just have to ask... Would I still be able to hunt in those Lottery Areas... only allowing to shoot a buck... or would hunting be fully prohibited for those who doesnt have a permit??? I kept reading and reading the handbook few times tonite...A friend of mine has a plot of land in area #183 but we already missed the application deadline... Nowhere in the handbook does it CLEARLY say that you can still hunt in the lottery area for Buck ONLY as long you have all valid license(s)... I plan on calling DNR on Monday to clarify this up... Two of my friends says that yes, we are still allowed to hunt in that area as long we shoot legal bucks... nothing else... Hope you all can help me out here... Thanks... You can hunt for "legal buck" only in a lottery zone if you don't have a permit. So, yes you can hunt.
