I will be hunting the SE metro. Haven't seen any huge bucks on camera so will settle for a doe just to get started.

SE Ottertail County. Not looking good compared to years past, very few does and fawns and havent had a buck on camera in over a month. Not sure I even will take a doe this year, I dont think there are many around my area, just have to wait for something to put on the wall.

ill be fishin saturday and sunday morning but sunday night ill be hunting up here for the first time in the northwoods (ely for college). found a nice narrow clear cut with a trail and where a small stream meets the clear cut with a trail along the stream and another trail coming out of a huge stand of young aspens. should be decent

wont make MN's opener this year, cant wait until next year to start a tradition of going to the hunting shack. It opened out here a few weeks ago, still haven't made it out, too warm...

On the edge of a cornfield, between the river and some state land, and just a very short distance from my first time bow hunting wife. I cannot wait. I do not know what I am looking more forward to, deer hunting or to see her first experience with a bow under hunting conditions.

I was already out for the WI opener. Not hunting deer in MN this year. I will be taking my cousin out for the youth waterfowl hunt tomorrow morning though.
