Hoffer
Ontario? Eagle or Manitou I am guessing... 61 is an awesome fish..but that isnt near world record pace is it??..... or is it?
JRedig
Ontario yields a lot of choices...how about some photoshopped teaser pics? C'mon...that'd be fun!!Or how about a girth measurement? That'll really turn people into guessing freaks!
propster
No world record, he released her. Good for him. And good for the rest of us!
Hoffer
No world record as far as official - cause it was a C and R...but how about the possibility "IF" it was kept?61 inches is that enough? Depending on girth...it just may be.This one measured only "58 inches"..but had an enormous girth of 30.5 inches for a total of 65 pounds... http://www.musky.ca/ontario-record-muskie3.jpg

setterguy
Don't know if anyone else had heard this or not, but I talked to a guy that is in the know, and he said the fish was actually 61 pounds. Not 61 inches. I guess we will all know soon enough when the story does officially come out, either way that is a monster fish.
Cooter
This might explain why the 58.5" is not lunker of the month. Can't wait for pics!
ryanmitchell
This post has been going for 4 days and there is still no verification? How big was that on that Dale dude caught on the St. Lawrence river last year. Lax had a reproduction made for the Chicago Musky show. That fish was ridiculous. setterguy
I guess I didn't read that. Sorry. My source was pretty reliable but with a phenomenon like this there are bound to be plenty of stories. Can't wait to see it and hear about it. DTro
This reminds me of the game where someone whispers something into someone else’s ear and then passes it on. By the end of the line the story hardly relates So what you are saying is that this fish was not caught on ML, not a state record, and was caught a couple of months ago? Well that pretty much matches up with the original post
