WOW...I just went out thinking I would be out tonight catching Flatheads but I could NOT catch a single Bullhead tonight. The water temp feels much much colder than a week ago and I assume the Bullies are gathering up in the deeper areas.

Let's just say it's the biggest fish entered in the kotc so far

The turtles have been showing up. I have one in a spare tank right now as a pet. I need to find something to feed him that he won't eat and use that for catfish bait.

Seems like the weather hasn't done much to the water levels, but it sure made the water temps take a hit. Some gauges were showing 70 and then dropped to 60.

Well at least it looks like it's supposed to be done for a while now. Looking at weather.com (which is usually wrong, but still) it shows that this rain will be done and the sun will come out within the next few hours. Already brightening up as I type this.

Looks like I'll be out tonight...by myself though. Wishin' the wife would have gotten surgery in the winter. No more fishin buddy anymore.

Yeah I almost stepped on a this guy the other day while walking down to the river. He is a ninja attack snapper. He is all camo'ed up with moss to ambush anyone heading to my spot.
