Wavey Davey
The 3-wheeler is good for up to 8" of snow or so. I have chains for it that help with traction on bare ice. It's good for early and late ice. Mid-season when the snow is deeper I use a snowmobile.

perchking
machohorn,I have a set of Camoplast UTV 4S for my 2011 JD Gator 825i. I went to install them last weekend but camoplast sent me the polaris hub's instead of the JD hubs. I should be getting the replacements early next week. I will post some pics once I get them on. As for the price, my tracks list at 4500.00 from any JD dealer or basic camoplast reseller. I did some checking online and I ended up buying mine from a reseller in Michigan for 3800.00 shipped to my work dock door. lilripper, I really like that cab set up, what brand is it? The only bad part of buying a JD is the cost of all the add-ons. My next purchase for mine is a full glass cab, which runs 4k-5k installed. LipRipper!!
Machohorn, They are camoplast tatou 4s utv tracks. I have not been able to really test them out but I did do alot of research before I bought these. I was also looking at the Polaris tracks and they are also a good track. The reasons I chose to go with the camoplast is the fact that they are a true 4 season track, not as much "stuff" to catch slush and ice up and all the reveiws from satisfied owners. THe one down fall to these over the polaris tracks is speed...you loose about half your on tire speed which means bad fuel milage but 30 is fast enough for me in the winter!!!! I have seen them for 3850.00 plus a 100 for install at tire whizz in Rockford,MN.
LipRipper!!
perchking it is a polaris rangerware cab. Not a bad cab but for what a person pays for them they should come with a radio, heater, some gold bars and could fit a little better. I think you will really love your tracks!!! Just take the time to get them set up properly. Also keep in touch and let me know any tips, tricks or problems you encounter. Sweet Gator you have!!! PurpleFloyd
My 2008 filled with precious cargo. It is actually red but I bought it used with only 80 miles and the 1st owner had put camo tape on it.
aczr2k
LipRipper...Your going to want a heater, at least to keep the windshield clear. Rangerware makes the best heater, opt for the wye kit defroster. Just installed mine this weekend and got the doors mounted up. Almost two days worth of work. What's another few hundred at this point? LOL. It never ends.
LipRipper!!
acr2k, I already have the heater....just need the windshield washer kit, radio and someone else's real full piggy Bank!!!! How does your cab fit? I am not very happy with all the gaps in mine...could also be a poor install job.
aczr2k
My cab fits fairly well, I have the most gaps along the hood lines. Dealer did your install? They (rangerware) include extra weatherstripping to seal door gaps. My doors actually seal very well, it's all in the adjustment, it takes two people, one in the cab to loosen/tighten the hinges and one to mess with the door. The wing windows are adjustable also. If this ranger is like my last one a little fresh air in the cab isn't a bad thing to combat the hot belt and engine smell since everything is amplified with the full cab. From what I've seen online at the prcforum other makes of cabs have some of the same issues, but they are a "little" cheaper, everyone hates the polaris poly cab, the new pro steel cabs are pretty popular but too heavy for me, the new curtis pro rcs cabs have quite a following.Good luck with the tatous and new ranger. If I could dump these polaris tracks I'd have me set of the tatous.

Great Outdoors
Finally saved enough pennies and got the tracks put on!!! Bring on the snow!!(after we get good ice) Exactly the same setup as I have, but mine is red. You will love those Tatou Camoplast tracks when going through deep snow and slush. I put two Gold Star Screws(Dennis Kirk) per grouser just in case you go on ice. I had another brand of track on a 700 Ranger which could not compare to these. As another posted, $3,800 shipped to your house.
