O2Fish
I'm planning on getting a new net for the boat. I want an expendable handle for those days I will be pulling lead on the long rods and want a little more reach. Any ideas? I was thinking about the green expendable nets from cabelas. I just saw the Frabill tru-trax and might go with one of those. I like how light the Frabill is. There is a lot of play in it that I am worried about though.Any experience with any one of these? Any other options for a reasonable price out there?
DUCKJ
I got the frabill tru-trx and love it. Easy extention and holds up with bigger fish in it. Zero problems and I have had mine for over 2 years. Im also a guide so I fish alot.Duck
Tyler23
i second on the frabill. my uncle has one and it works pretty slick. also make sure you get it from cabelas that way if anything happens to it you can return it, there warrenty program is great. WalleyeChaser
I also have a stow master! And love it. folds in half and stores easily in the rod locker when just cruisin around and no more forgettin' the net at home because we took it out the day before for play. JohnMickish
Frabill Tru Trax. The one that I have has the hookless/tangle free bag (highly recommend) and the handle adjust from about 3 feet out to about 6. The Cabelas nets are basically the same except they have the heavy rubber bag.
broken_line
the stowmaster nets are really nice!! they fold up to a small space so they dont get kicked in the water or blown out

WingDing2
I want to say $85.00 bucks or so I really cant remember, my StowMaster is 5 yrs old and never had a problem with it! I have a shed full of nets that I've aquired over the years, either there to heavy or not long enough or just plain take up too much room in the boat... and I have an awfully big boat LOL I really cant comment the new Frabill cuz I've never seen one.
