Nice one!!!!i never caught one but have seen some huge ones down on Table Rock Resevoir near the surface in 80 feet of water. i asked the resort guy why the flatheads where on the surface [i thought they were bottom feeders]. he told me they were after bluegills. i had one of those on but it broke off on me, but i'll never forget the fight. i had lighter bass tackle so it was no match for the cat. good luck.

It was a great weekend to be out on the river. Me and a buddy put 9 cats on the beach friday night, and you cant complain about a view like this.

This one ate two 10-12" suckers. The fish came up with a hook in each corner of its mouth and managed to tangle is up in the brush pile.

My friend had to go in early so I was left alone to deal with this pig so its not a real great pic.
