got this nice largemouth out of mille lacs this weekend. 19.5in 4.75lbs. my buddy thought it would be good to get into the pic has well. Oh by the way Deitz thanks for the advice on the CDM 580 silver glass---they are amazing.

Thanks guys. I was shakin for awhile after that! Reinhard---Hungry Jack is such an amazing lake...the smallie fishing is unbelievable. I was actually able to convince my wife last summer to go on our honeymoon there :-)

Here's my brother-in-law with a 21" from Sunday on a very secret lake near Isle, Mn. We didn't weigh her, it was really cold and we took a few pics and got her back. 10 minutes later, we regretted not weighing her. Oh well, I'll guess 5.5lb.

This girl actually went 21.25 but only weighed in at 5.0lbs even. Skinny fish...longest bass i've ever caught though

Nice fish Bucketmouth. Must have been fun to catch. We might have been on the lake at the same time you guys were, we were just a bit to your east. Bite seemed to be from 11:30 until about 1:00, then it just shut down. Our big girl came at 8:00 am and then we had nothing until about 11:00 and nothing after 1:00 until we called it a day.

bassfshn, let us know how you do. I'd like to get up there one more time this fall as well. Like I said, everyone I talked to says this year is strange. The water temp is 55, which should mean tons of smallies patrolling the shallow flats looking to pack on weight. However, the big schools of fish are still out deep and guys are catching them with the walleyes. These cold fronts are killers, car gauge said 30 on Sunday AM.

I've done more helping and less fishing my last couple of times out, but it was worth it helping a good friend and my son get their PB largies

My boy's fish was only 2 lbs. 6 oz, but for a 6 year old trying to pull a bass out of the rice, that was about enough to wear him out! The first pic doesn't really do the fish justice. I took it with my cell phone camera from the far end of the boat...it was a nice, chunky 4 lb 4 oz fish.

Both fish we caught were on tubes. One was in shallow water around rocks and the other was on a drop with rocks.

Finace' and I launched out of cove bay around 1:30. We headed east and stopped at the reefs. We did catch them pretty quick then nothing rest of the day. Saw two boats hit bottom really hard. One was watching us get pix of fish not paying attention they were driving right onto a shallow reef, the other was a pontoon that twice hit the bottom hard going along the shore; he was driving it like he didn't have a dime in it. So we had our entertainment.

Thanks, I agree with weight, heaviest smallie I ever lifted. Wish I had a scale, the one I did have the battery terminals corroded so I couldn't change battery; broke off connector.

Caught Sunday 22" 4.95lbs - on a jig - North metro lake.

Only had seven fish total, the second biggest one was 3.9lbs and 21 inches.
