Man, this is ridiculous. I haven't been this jealous about guys catching walleyes--either on area rivers or on Erie--in a long, long time. Nice catches, fellas.

Nice fish everyone!

The past few weeks my dad and I have been hitting the local river and doing quite well. Lots of eater 15-19 inchers with the occasional low20. This afternoon my dad got one 27...

Some picts - NY has a "save people from themselves" law. You have to wear a lifejacket from nov 1 till april 1. I dont like it but oh well...

This is the one my dad got this evening... released...

Most of the nicer fish have been in 7-12 foot of water. Current edges or current swept areas. 1/4 oz bucktails tilled with minnows or plain jigs tipped with 3in gulp minnows...

Still waiting on safe ice out here but my dad and I are haveing a good time with some river eyes. I got out of work early and we hit some nice fish this afternoon. Got a bunch of just shorts, 5 nice eaters, and my dad got a 26 and 27 incher!
