Heres one my little guy picked up while we were out fishing.

Wow thats a nice one! What were the measurements on that!? We got into a few tonight, kind of a mix. The bigger crappie was 13" numerous bluegills around 9-9 1/2" and a few nice perch to boot. Didn't get any pics on the lake since its only a half hour bite. [Please read forum {photo} policy before posting again]

For real or are you pulling our legs? That thing is massive but it looks like it was probably hungry!!!! How long is that and did you weigh it? Nice fish and if that is your son that caught it congratulate him on a catch of a lifetime!!! WOW that is an awesome crappie!!! very jealous.......

Thanks for the kind words guys it is a nice fish, not overly long, taping in at 16.5 and slightly more then 2.5 lbs. He is gonna get a mount done and I did tell him, he may never catch another crappie like that in a long time..... but then again, we'll be fishing again Thursday evening

Well I made it out as planned today and the sunnies and crappies were eating plastics really good right away, but as soon as it started snowing the bite shut down big time and the only thing they would even look at was waxies. All the fish were caught suspended over 16 feet of water. Heres a couple of the nicer ones, both were right about 9 3/4".
