Well if the Sox want to keep it a rivalry they better infuse some young talent into the organization... A. Ramirez is a start as is Danks... the Twins are so young and so talented already... your Old guys will all be retiring soon.

Finally, the Sox were able to hold off the Twins in the closest race they've ever had together.........This is developing into one of the best rivalry's in baseball.

GO SOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where the heck have you been the last 5 years... starting to be? It's been a hot one for a while now.

Interesting fact I came across on the White Sox/Twins season:

But going into the game they not only were 88-74, they had identical marks at home (53-28), on the road (35-46) and in their division (43-29).

yes, this rivalry has been around for a while, but it's never come down to the wire like this........in fact, the division was usually decided in the beginning of September.........

As far as young players.......Denks, Floyd, Richard, Jenks....some of the better young pitching talent in the league. Fortunately, we don't play in a *$#! dome and we can actually afford to pay for some expensive talent, and keep them.

Interesting fact in the Play In game. Both teams threw the exact same number of pitches. 111 each. It is a shame that we have to knock each other out so early. I would much rather settle this battle in a best of 7 series, maybe for the ALCS. It would have been much more fun to watch the Twins beat the Angels and the Sox beat the Rays (wishful thinking) and then we would not have to watch any east coast teams in the playoffs.

Game numero 4 and its 6-2 Good Guys... by that I mean Tampa bay!! Looks like our ol' buddy A.J. is going out in style... so far 0-3 and he has had four bases stolen on him and the pitcher!

Looks like a coin flip couldn't help the Sox in this series.
