Matt Millen has been fired as GM of the Detroit Lions. Lions fans can now breath easier and hope for a decent draft next April for a change.

they did suprise us, they finally fired Millen

Millen didn't have any success and that's what the NFL is all about. The decisions he made where popular...who to bring in, who to draft, etc. etc. But in the end nothing panned out. He never stuck to a plan for how he or his coaches wanted to mold a team. He needs a little time off. Would you want your front office hiring him?

Apparently he didn't have the goods on the boss like McFale does.

Are you sure he didn't have the goods on the Ford's......I mean he did lead them for 7+ years and never went to the playoffs and had a 31-84 record while GM.......after a while what ever they have on you just don't matter!!!
