Well I was wrong, he looked pretty darn good. I didn't get that awful feeling when he stepped back to throw like I did when Tjack was in.

Gus did pretty good managing the game. Nothing spectacular, but managed the game and thats all the vikes need!

I am comfortable with Gus.

Give Chili credit. He went against himself and all his preaching and pulled HIS QB. I never thought he would do it. If he wasted time and money and wins on T-Jack, at least he was able to admit it when the situation was well within salvation.

Look at it this way.

We are tied with the Colts for win/loss record and one game behind the Patriots!!!!

And, we have played three decent teams and have been close.

But, the defense won this game. Sure, they had over 200 yards passing...but if the team would have held the other teams to under 10 points...we would be 3-0.

People, we are 3 games into the season. Let's give gus a few more games before we jump to conclusions. I will say this though, gus looked pretty good. We'll have to wait and see what happens next sunday. Remember, it is the vikes we are talking about here.

i wish we would of signed pennington also...i wonder if we even contacted his agent to see whats up.

i'd rather have chad then gus as a starter but gus did good and is way better then tjunk....only thing that scares me is if gus gets hurt we are back to tjunk...where if we had chad, either he or gus would be the starter and one or the other would be the backup and tjunk would totally be out of the equation.

lets hope gus stays healthy...like i said earlier this is probably his best chance he's ever had to be a winning qb...he still has a big arm too..that was kinda nice seeing a bomb...haven't seen one of those around here since 02 lol.
