I bet not. Now that Gordon is on the same team, some of that hate for Gordon has been tempered. Hopefully, Jr. wins and it's a non-issue anyhow, but if he doesn't, I hope common sense prevails.

I thought it was one of the best races of the year. It was much better than Daytona for action. I was afraid they would line up and ride around, but they weren't satisfied with that and kept it dicey almost the entire time. Even though there weren't many cautions or wrecks until the end it was a fun race to watch for sure.

I agree.

Too bad for the #17 (crappy set up)

Same for the #99.

hendricks got to be thinking he made a mistake letting busch go.

What was gordini thinking ?? sitting in the catbirds seat with

3 to go and he pulls out of the draft with no help ??

tsk, tsk, tsk. diminishing talent ??

Meaney, you need to quit watching racing altogether if you thought that was boring. Of course your definition of boring is Kenseth not winning, so obviously all the races are boring these days.

What is up with him and Edwards not being able to set up a car so it doesn't wreck the tire? Edwards said they had the same problem in practice and just never fixed it???!!!!???!!!!!

They definitely didn't get strung out like they did at Daytona, so it was definitely more entertaining...there were enough "mix-ups" with things like the Rousch tire issues, a couple of mistakes/bumps that would get the heart jumping....

I too was amazed at how two cars bumper to bumper could really make a move (watching denny Hamlin do that twice for slingshot too was really neat to see)

Another amazing thing....how cars could get squirrly, but straighten out... How much of that new wing do you think helps that? There are side panels to it, and being it is formed like an air foil, sidewind still passes over it...

Thoughts?

I really thought Juan Pablo was going to get the win, but the mix-up in last lap basically gave it to Kyle...

Ya Steve how Kyle Busch and McMurray didn't wreck with like 17 to go is beyond me, PURE LUCK! That should have wiped out half the field, these new cars are amazing in that regard. The FoxTracks showing the speeds of two hooked up cars just blew my mind, 8-10 mph faster than a whole line? It was crazy racing...

I liked the race (other than my drivers stinking it up) but in a strange way 400 or 350 miles would have been enough. It seems the only purpose for the first 187 laps was just make sure you are in the top 20 when the last lap starts. I like the big track races but there is no way a driver can dominate a whole race like on a small track.
