You know, it seems to me that everyone here is upset because they feel that if PETA or some PETA-like organization down the road, succeeds in their campaign (loooong shot at best), our kids might not be able to eat fish someday. I don't want to see this happen either.

I think that rising levels of mercury in fish are a much greater threat to our children and grandchildren's opportunity to keep and eat fish. Unfortunately I haven't seen any posts for petitions against Bush's plan to deal with mercury emissions that a number of state agencies throughout the nation have said will actually increase mercury levels in some areas.

Just my opinion.
