My son caught this a couple weeks ago on a tube jig under a bobber. He's a good little fisherman for a 3 year old!

My heart may feel a littl guilty, but my BELLY says yummy! Don't worry, we caught about 3 times what we kept pretty easy. I never feel guilty knowing I kept enough for a meal for the family and let plenty back to swim another day! If I could count the days I fished for pure enjoyment and not for the keep, it would more than quadruple the days I keep a meal. I choose not to freeze fish, only keeping on a day when I know we can plan a family meal. I strongly encourage CPR, and do so in many occasions, but keeping a meal a couple times a month is logical and keeps me on the goods with the family chief!

Nice job eyeguy and thanks for sharing. I wish more people took the time to make a measuring board. I think when my garage is warmer than 60 I'm going to do a photo tutorial on making measuring boards...too many people need them if ya know what I mean
