Saw this story, that supposedly explains that someone let the cat out of the bag about exactly what escalated in the Trailer!!!!

By the way... NICE MULLET SMOKE

From Yahoo Sports

Despite the great pains taken by NASCAR officials to keep confidential what happened during Friday night's closed-door meeting between Tony Stewart and Kurt Busch following their on-track altercation, several reliable sources in the NASCAR garage confirmed to Yahoo! Sports that Stewart hit Busch in that meeting.

Remarkably, either Busch is a quick healer or the blow wasn't strong enough to leave a mark, as the Penske driver, during several appearances both in person and on television, revealed no sign of the altercation.

The confrontation stemmed from an on-track incident during a practice session for Saturday's Bud Shootout. During a practice session for Saturday's Budweiser Shootout, Stewart got into the back of Busch's car, spinning him into the wall at Daytona International Speedway. Both drivers' cars were damaged in the incident, forcing them to the garage. But before Stewart could navigate his way to the garage, an angry Busch pulled up beside him, then purposefully banged into the right side of Stewart's car.

Busch then cut in front of Stewart, steering his car through a narrow opening to the Daytona garage where he nearly hit a member of Stewart's crew.

Both drivers immediately were called to the NASCAR hauler, where the physical confrontation occurred.

The two have a history. In fact, this latest incident is reminiscent of an altercation they had last season when Busch, angry at Stewart for another on-track incident, drove next to Stewart's car on pit road during a race at Dover International Speedway, nearly hitting one of Stewart's crew members.

For that incident, Busch was fined $100,000 and docked 100 points.

NASCAR officials have not determined what, if any, penalties will be forthcoming.

In a statement released Saturday, Stewart said he has put the incident behind him, saying the on-track altercation was just a matter of racing.

"Kurt's emotion and his desire and passion to win are much like mine," Stewart said in the statement. "The easiest way for us to go out and do what we do is just to agree to disagree and go on from there.

"I'm not mad at him about what happened on the race track at all. What happened, happened. We can't fix it. We can't change it. The best thing to do is to go on and move forward and not let this linger between the two of us. And hopefully, the media will respect that and not keep it going longer than today."

The two met again with NASCAR on Saturday, a meeting attended by Stewart's boss, team owner Joe Gibbs

I have to applaud anyone that throws a fist at a Busch brother no matter who they are...Tony Stewart, Jimmy Spencer, Chris Myers...don't care. Both of them have a smart mouth and don't seem to get the big picture. Spoiled little brats.

I was looking for a shiner last night when they interviewed Busch but didn't see anything. They had been talking about it all day yesterday. Kinda interesting that Tony races with the brother too. lol. That should help relations between those two as well.

Glad to see Tony is still Tony, call him a crybaby but the fact of the matter is he is still not afraid to push the line. Do you think Tony has his own coffee cup in the nascar trailer (aka principals office)? hey Bush, I think your ears are flapping again-more duct tape!

Amen to that. I didn't like Ku when he started, and liked Ky even less. By the way, what is with the mullet on Smoke?

Word around the campfire is that Kurt was mouthing off again, so it probably wasn't a "sucker punch" and he should have known that he probably had it coming for lipping off. Same thing that happened with Spencer. The kid never learns.

I'd side with Busch in the Spencer deal only because Jimmy hit him while he was still strapped in the car which is LAME! He should have let him get out and then cleaned his clock good! As for in the hauler this weekend, two of the biggest [PoorWordUsage] we have in this sport, both of whom need to grow up or get their hind ends beat.

There are times it seems in any venue of racing that the governing body cannot seem to take care of issues that arise on the track. It also seems that the only way at times to address those issuses by yourself. Mr Busch seems to upset many people with the things he choses to do on the track and Tony may be sick of them. If NASCAR could address those issues, then Tony may not feel that the only way to try and take care of this matter is to take the whole deal into his hands.

The Busch brothers and mainly Kurt are nothing short of cry babies and hot heads and Tony off course will take care of it if need be.

Maybe NASCAR needs to sit some of these drivers out for a month or let them race without any points. The money seems to not bother any of them.

What'll really pi...(ooops,make me mad) is when their on track fued starts collecting other driver's in their wrecks.

Just give those two their cars and an empty track for 15 minutes some saturday morning and let them have at it. \:o

Heck, I'd pay to see that!
