Where does everybody watch the Super Bowl?

As a restaurant manager for many years, I have had an "argument" with every owner about how to get people into the establishment. With the exception of CO (since everyone there is already away from home), I have had a hard time filling the bar for the Super Bowl. My stance is that most people get together and have parties at someones home or just hang out with roomates, husbands and wives and family. How does everyone here spend Super Bowl Sunday?

I've never watched one at a bar. Even in College where I spent most of my free time in a bar. There always seems to be a party where everyone brings a beverage and something to eat to share. That way you can hear all the commercials too.

60" Plasma HDTV, Lazy Boy recliner, plenty of good beer, NAD/Canton/NHT stereo that kicks. Why would I want to go to any bar and then get a DUI when I come home?

I noticed alot of bars are advertising all you can eat and drink for $25.00, that is a recipe for a dwi. I usually watch the game at home or at a friends house.

I can't wait to show this thread to my boss This is what I've been saying all along, I would much rather watch the game in the comfort of my own home with my couch, TV, cheap beverages, TONS of food and good friends.

Can't watch the Super Bowl at a bar. Gotta do it at home, like others have said, with good (and cheap) food and drink, good friends, and a place to kick up your legs and make yourself comfortable.

im surprised that nobody has chimed in that has a nice permy with TV's etc. that said they were going to watch the game on the lake. if I could do that, fish and watch the game I would in a heartbeat.

I also have to say I have never been to a bar to watch the game. I will take my comfy couch, HDTV, surround sound and fireplace.

In the comfort of my home in front of the fireplace. I don't have HDTV and all the electronic goodies, but I'll take watching it at home over a bar any day.

My wife and I have the option of three different Superbowl parties. I agree that a bar is great for Monday night football but not the Superbowl.

This year and last year I have borrowed a projector, 100" screen and stereo system and watch the game on that. It is pretty sweet seeing the players in almost fullsized.

At home and having people over. Bars are spendy and too many people.

Either at home or the neighbors. Usually go to my mom & dad's house, but not this year.
