I should have posted right away that I predicted that you would predict that the #17 driven by Kenseth would win the title. Hehe.

I predict I will be getting a farmer tan during the duels, sunburn during the nationwide, and blisters during the 500...unless I remember to bring spf30 along while sitting in the Earnhardt section..

14 days till the racing starts... Getting PUMPED!!!

Unless the weather turns on you like it did when we were there two years ago. It was sunburns for the (then) Busch, and cold drizzle for the 500.

Who else in the DEI camp is strong enough AND running a full time car? Truex is the only one there worth anything...Paul Menard will never be a top-notch driver...it's just not in him. The third car is being split between drivers...

So..is Truex establishing himself as DEI's top driver really a prediction or just he happened to be in the right place at the right time for it to fall in his lap? :-)

DEI....will struggle with getting good drivers full time. I bet Truex is not there long...and he'll move on too.

I would have to agree with you Steve , Truex does not seem to be a guy that could step in as the #1 driver.

That being said we saw last year what he can do when he get's #1 stuff.

Well... here is my predictions for the year

Mikey wins the 500 after Shrub takes out the entire HMS team on the last lap.

Stewart punches Shrub for taking out the wrong group of cars and pleads temporary insanity due to excessive bloating from too much mayo in his Subways.

Harvey Lee comes out of the closet and admits that he really is a Gordon fan.

Stewart punches himself , claims he saw a Busch brother when it was his own shadow.

Johnson wins his 3rd championship, Jr is second, Gordon and Mears don't make the chase.

Toyota puts 3 cars in the chase.

Lawdog buys a Toyota, realizes that he made a mistake and trades it for a race car.

and finally...

Main Event at the WWF Summer Slam is a tag team affair. Stewart and Spencer vs Less Filling and Shrub. S&S disqualified for excessive use of gas sick.gif

My prediction... Dale Jr wins every race and the championship. Delusional E fans change thier mind and proclaim Nascar the best sport ever (and not about the money), and the COT the best idea ever!
