its funny to look back now and see the excuses made for jr as his stuff being bad as the problem. I dont think you could convince some people of the truth even if you put jr in the 48 car and he still didnt win All of a sudden "that Chad Knaus doesnt know what hes doing" would be the most heard statement. It amazes me.

Joey Lagano. Yea, I said it, "sliced bread" More like crusty wonder bread.

You know he is over hyped when the driver himself has said many times that he is not ready to be in a cup car. I think they should have left him in the Nationwide (busch) car for a year or two more before bringing him up full time.

I have to agree that Lagano is over rated, but most over rated...???? not sure about that.

Montoya and Earnhardt probably make the list. There are a lot of drivers that could be placed in the "they are only as good as their equipment" category.

I just want to echo those that have talked about Mears.....he is really really awful. Then again, no one in the RCR team has been that good. Burton, Harvick, and Bowyer have all had moments, but none of them are consistent. But as a Jr fan, I look no further than my favorite driver. He has been all sorts of disappointing over the past, what four years or so? He is slowly but surely becoming one of the most overrated drivers.

No, but everyone thought he was the second coming or the next "wonder boy", yet he's struggling to stay above the cut-off line for qualifying each week.

As much as I like Jr and understand that he cannot fill his fathers shoes or should he be expected too, he is not doing very well.

I really try to believe this will change but I am losing faith faster every race.
